How bad does it hurt certain styles? I have a basher with little damage, trained ST once (with a 17 will) and still does little damage. I have tried to train up again, but failed (42% for 2nd try?). So do I continue to keep trying to get that next train or just live with it. The Basher has a losing recored so far. I also have a PR with little damage and a 13 will. Trained once, but failed. Will give that one another shot at 65%. I feel like I am losing out on some nice skills with these failed attempts, but hate losing fights with that little damage. Opinions?

Little damage is pretty debilitating for a warrior, especially for those two styles you mentioned, BA and PR.

I would keep going for the next ST attempt in hopes of getting normal damage and if they fail to pick up the damage bump, I would strongly consider sending the warriors to the Dark Arena (depending on their bonuses, design, and long term prospects).

The primary exception to the "avoid little damage at all cost" rule is with ABs, who can do fine with Little damage in basic. TPs can also be ok, relying on their parry and defense to win fights. Most other styles really want normal damage or better.

If I understand you correctly, you say te two warriors above (BA, PR) started with 16ST and have little damage. When you bumped ST on the ba to 17, it still had "little"? Something is really VERY unusual, then; we would have said this cannot be.

Am I interpreting wrong?

And the % probability for the 2nd train when at 17WL is 0.5 x 17 x 5 = 37.5%.

P.S. Completely agree with what OAB said so well.

I have run a LOT of oddball bashers. From what I know about the style, you NEVER want a little damage basher. I never intend to run one.

As far as little damage on other warriors, what has been said has been well said.

My take on little damage:
1. No warrior wants little damage!
2. Pure defensives don't really care about damage. It is still true that they don't want it, but they aren't ever planning to attack, so they don't care.
3. Certain styles inherently perform better with lower physicals. Most notably AB's. The other two styles that I typically consider are PS's and TP's.
4. A really high damage weapon can to a degree mitigate little damage. The three I'd suggest are SC, BS, and BA (the other high damage weapons aren't useable in basic by little damage warriors)
5. See #1.

I won't even run a normal damage Basher... good is the absolute minimum for my taste. I've gotten away with little on AB, PS, TP, and now a LU (see below) but I don't recommend trying it on anything else. If there's any possible way to make it runnable and get normal damage, try to go that route.
I'm currently running two little damage warriors, an AB and a LU, and both of those are double 21's.

I've had a little damage dealing lunger and aimed blow. Both were disappointing.

Have run little damage AB, LU, PL, ST, TP, WS
Some multiples.
Don't like it (little). Who does?
Have able to bump most - not all.
Seems most workable with AB and TP.
Do not recommend it for the faint of heart.
