Upon examination of my tournament, I noticed something very odd. My zombie warrior appears to have skipped some skills. He was at exactly Expert in Rip and Def going into the tourney, 16 skills each. Then he learned one Def. Then he got Advanced Experts in both areas, in the same fight.
So, apparently, he skipped straight from 16 to 20 in Rip, and from 17 to 20 in Def. I can't imagine how this could happen, and of course I'm going to dig up all the recent fights and double-check the learns.
I should point out that in both of these skill areas, he WAS expert in, before the zombification. He dropped below these ratings as part of the process of losing WT, then re-gained these ratings in the arena, before the tourney. That may have something to do with it, I dunno. At this point it's a mystery. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

My zombies are funky, as well.
One of them lost about 6 skill learns during the zombification process, another one has a rating that doesn't make sense.
Since both of mine are long-term projects, I'm just going to keep running them and developing them and hope that things start to make more sense as they max out skills.

exactly what I was thinking too, we won't know the real numbers until they max skills. At least in my case, the abnormality appears to be a plus!

See that you guys and your tourneys BROKE the game! Broken warriors everywhere.
Zombies ate HAL's brain!

Ugh, sounds similar to the SZ grow/shrink bugs which used to cause out of bounds warriors. (In this case, at least temporarily as you'll lose any "bonus" skills in Primus if it sends you out of bounds...)

And the mystery deepens...
Odin just got his invite (because I screwed up and thought he had one more fight, I was gonna sandbag him). On the ADM overview, it shows that he has Advanced Master Attack. The only problem is, they neglected to inform me or Odin when he had reached that plateau.
It happened sometime after zombification, because he still showed Master on the overview of the time. I'm guessing it happened during this last tournament, since the other aberrations showed up then. It just never showed up on any fight result, and he did not learn any Attack in that tourney (I'm guessing maxxed now).

Yes, from last Fall's mail-in:
And for this tournament only, managers of Tournament Champions will earn an opportunity that ranks as every guildmaster's greatest dream: They will be given one Zombie Potion, which allows them to choose any of their dead warriors and resurrect it as a zombie! Zombies are not known for their intelligence (-4 Wit) but they have enhanced Strength (+2), Will (+2), Attack skills (+2 to base), the maximum damage ability for its attributes (in perpetuity), and can use both arms (and legs) equally well! (All modifications will leave the warrior within natural boundaries for their arena.) All Dead Tourney Tournament Champions will be resurrected and granted immortality; Tournament Victors of the Dead Tourneys will only be resurrected. Immortal warriors may not challenge the Dark Arena.
Zombies were also granted Immortality.
