Has anyone noticed that is harder to do stat increases? I've had VERY high willed warriors take two or three turns to get a stat increase. When I say high will, I mean 18s and 19s. Did they change the formula?

I can only say my Mail-In stat raising attempt were mediocre. But I just chalked it up to the 1/2 success limitations.

Nope, as an often stat raiser, we do not see a single bit of difference nowadays to before. Same for the Mailer realizing, as stated above, the % is halved.

I feel for ya, I have had the same issue, for the most part I say it's like everyone states, but for some reason I get a guy with a 17-19 WL that takes way to long to get a bump, on the backside I have a 5 WL guy that got 2 bumps the first try and only took 2 tries to get a second bump in the same stat . Who knows for sure. Vent away and move on is the best advice.

That is my problem, York. I have some really high willed guys taking two and three turns to get their first increase. Never mind the second or third. Don't get me started on my 17 and 18 wit warriors being lucky if they get one skill learn.

I am not venting, I am just wondering if anyone heard they changed the formula. Confused

So, maybe something was changed. That would explain so much.

Didn't say you were venting, I was suggesting that you Vent and Move on, because you will not get a straight answer. Myself, I think a hidden string that can bless or hose is imbedded at time of creation. I also feel it could be different for each stat. Others feel its like stated, 5 * WL and a straight random roll. I can argue the case both ways, to prove my way would take several years of data from every manager, and it would still be a point if contention, SOOOO... Either you have bad rolls or getting a hosed string = same results, hence my advice of Vent and move on.

This is true. Sorry I misunderstood. I am just trying to figure out why my strikers can't get the decisiveness (even the ones with ratings), my high wit warriors can't learn more than one skill a turn, and my high will warriors need two or three attempts to get a stat increase.

But like you said; vent and move on. Very Happy

I generally look at skill learns as 15 WT = 1.75, 17 WT = 2.25, 21 WT = 2.75. After that, winning/losing, FE difference, dynamics of the fight, and/or luck can affect those averages.

In terms of stat trains, I utilize the WL*5 = % of success with 1% variation, and use standard deviations to dictate the likelihood of events. The law of averages has overwhelmingly played out in stat trains for me.

Favorite learns have a pretty big effect on a warrior. I've had decise learn lungers go to ADM with 4 attack skills, defense learn strikers with 5 attack in Challengers, etc. I'm guessing there is a list of priority learns that gets adjusted by your warrior's favorite learn, then combined with the skill learning functions utilized per fight by the program.

In short, all the things that are not working for you are anomalies in a very static code that will equal out for you given time and numbers.
