Turn 724 in Tobir has proved very fruitful for Street Legal and THE DEATH SQUAD(63)!
--- To kick it off I got a very nice 5-0-2 (my best turn ever were numerous 5-0-1's)
--- Large Marge left for the Isle, my 51st graduate (9th ST). This is a warrior Manager(r) said to DA immediately (15-7-0) 7-13-17-17-9-10-11 ST +4 DEF/+4 DEC Faves: Battle Axe (never used) HI/VL learns DEF
--- Won a back and forth 5 minute battle with the Khalums Dwarf with my 21 WT PS who refuses to learn ATT
Awards:
Duelmaster - Vortex (16-12-1,103)
Chartered Recognition Leader - Vortex 103 pts
Overall Popularity Leader - Vortex
This Weeks Favorite - Sidewinder (13-4-0,96)
The Current Top Team - The Death Squad(63) : 12-3-2
Chartered Team - The Death Squad(63) 747-542-42 58.0%
Team on the Move - 32 Points
I've won 6 awards once MAYBE twice. I have NEVER won 7 awards; btw the most you can win is 7 awards!
The Death Squad 7 of 7 possible awards! I believe I should get more than 3 free turns for this! Start the petition drive! Anyone else had such an experience please share it so I can see what "Club" I have just entered! |

I have topped out at 6.
Nicely done.
Also - nice job on that graduate. Always nice to do well with one that shouldn't succeed. |

I'd agree that a more substantial award should be granted. Maybe a potion or two of some sort. I'm sure if it was given, then more managers would add it to their active goal list. It might even convince some to run full stables and therefore increase RSI's bottom line. Maybe they'd consider it if the proposal was convincing enough. I'll sign the petition!
Congratulations on a once-in-a-lifetime combination of events!

So the reward for this is about $30? That's really not that bad. But I do agree that there should be some "fame" associated with it. Maybe Jorja could publish those who achieve six or more in one turn in the Newsletter. Also, it would be cool if this could be added to the Terrablood Award's section. Then it would be part of the "permanent record".
Personally, I'd be very happy with the three free turns as well as the bragging rights of "Best Turn EVER!"

Thanks everyone. I was mostly joking about more than 3 turns, though it would make a little sense even if just 4 free turns or maybe a 1 skill learn potion plus the 3 turns (free skill to any member of the team with 4 or more FE). I am quite content with the 3 free turns indeed!
It took some things falling into place just right. Zombie Squad went inactive to give me top chartered team; Norix of Philanthropists went inactive allowing me an easier shot at DM, lost to him twice in a row with Vortex though I think I may be able to take him in a tough match. Also accidentally, with a 5 KD, killed off The Little Pup in an infirmary death to get Popularity Leader.
That said despite those occurrences I also needed to pull out a tough battle with my PS that I was sure I lost as I read along and he went desperate, with a 9 WL, twice. I'm just glad I waited for the hard copy and chose not to peek at the online posting of the NL. It made for a bit more excitement! |

That is true. But I didn't want to ruin his joy. Who knows, he could repeat. |

Argh. Just missed on another 7 award turn. Got 6 and came in second for teams on the move (31 to 21). My PS lost to Kung-Fu Master, in 2 minutes, and dropped 18 points or I'd have had another 7 award turn. Not complaining just one of those "Ohhhhhh sooooo close moments!"
Got my 52nd graduate but since the turn didn't arrive I have no idea what Vortex's faves are. I'm guessing MO/LO Quarterstaff possible Parry tactic and no idea on his fave learn as he's scattered evenly, like a PS, with learns of 10/0/10/10/8/10. I'll venture a guess of DEC skills since he had about 8 of those before any other area hit 5! |
