I'm big into politics, but this isn't about politics. If you want to get a good timeline of the events that took place that horrible day, watch this program on National Geographic Channel. I was completely taken back by the accounts of that day, and feel no matter what your political affiliation is, you will be astounded by the program.

Unfortunately, some of us might have forgotton about that day, and it reminded me of it in stark detail

Got my airplane ticket I was supposed to use to fly to Boston that day in my sock drawer (I will never part with that ticket). Truly, a day our generation will not forget!

Don't want to see it again. Will never forget it! At the time, we were officed in Milford MA (Boston suburb) and traveling all the time. A disgusting, despicable act.

I was on my way to a Doc's appointment and then to work, worked in an office at a mall in Detroit. Watched the second plane hit live on TV at the Doc and listened all day at work until we were sent home as ALL places where people gathered en masse in Detroit were closed down.

I think FAR too many people have already forgotten our pledges to pull together as a people who will NEVER again be divided and the Sociacrats are trying to tear us apart again with their pinko BS propaganda, forgive the political statement but those people are REALLY starting to anger me (I come from a long line of liberals who are pissed their party was stolen from them, and I'm a moderate leaning rightie.... for the record).

Unfortunately this event touched everyone in the USA. My step-mother had a cousin that was the co-pilot of AA flight 11. I still hear her cries when I let my mind remember.
I will never forget. Hopefully others will not.

On Sunday the 9th 2001, I was in Maine (Bangor), got on the first flight to Boston and got on the same first flight out in the morning to SF that was hijacked 2 days later by Atta, who had started his day in Maine (Portland).

Just in rememberance of that infamous day...

God Bless America, and God Bless the World.
God have mercy on the souls of the ones who commit crimes and claim them in his name
