Why would you hurt your endurance and damage chances for a riposte, a defense, and an initiative on a striker?

Good point. I was just thinking more about how accurate he'd be. I know the rip and def wouldn't do him any good, but a second shot to the same spot ends a lot of fights. And of course so does a first shot with extra damage.

Even 21 DF non-aimers will spray. Two points of DF isn't worth it just to reduce that, especially when it halves your chance at great damage.
