Are there any ongoing conflicts between managers/alliances etc. in Sunset?

I'm looking to pick or join a fight in Sunset.

It seems to me that it's just a big free-for-all killfest! I'm only running one warrior in there right now and don't follow all that closely, so I wouldn't call myself an expert on the subject. I wouldn't be a good one to pick a fight with, as I am just fighting that one warrior for one more turn and I will be sitting out for a bit. Maybe I will pick a fight with you when I start fighting in there again...what team do you run?

Don't look at me! My team there is too feeble!

I don't know if Woody is still looking for a fight - he's just trying to find a few wins to count as it is. See what happens when the manager spends too much time with his calculator and not enough time paying attention to his warriors? Very Happy

I was having a pretty bad run in Sunset for awhile.

I probably should pay even less attention. The number crunching did effectively distract me from turn inputs,
and these were the results:

(from the most recent Sunset newsletter)

Win-Loss Record Last 3 Turns W L K
1/ 2 LIGHT BRIGADE (549) 10 5 0
2/ 1 NOMADIC TRIBE (160) 9 5 1

(for those not inclined to crunch numbers, 10 is greater than 9)

Man, you really haven't been paying attention if you need to ask...you've been runnning steady the last while, figured you'd at least glance at the newsletter ads occasionally.

Things are fairly dead right now, several vets have deactivated and everyone's clammed up. As far as I can tell the only conflict going on is between me and Sherman of Literate Loons, mostly (IMO) cause he seems to feel the need to gripe a lot about certain managers' playing styles and can't seem to pick it up that he's running in a Delarq arena. But it's no full blown feud or anything.

You made some boasts a while ago on this board and in the ads, and I've been downchallenging you quite frequently, but you never whine about it at least and have held your own nicely. Hell, my pud basher's turning into your new best friend lately!

Ooh...Delarquan Math. I forgot about that. If it were an Andorian arena would I be at 7?

Of course. Anytime a Delarquian kills an Andorian it's worth seven times the points. Laughing
