This may sound strange, but I wish RSI had a place where we could make a payment instantly online. The reason I say this is I do not make the same amount of money every month, my checks vary. I get paid 2x a month and some checks are higher than others. If I had a place to instantly make a payment into my account and were able to see my balance and account online it would allow me to keep up 10 times more efficiently than currently.

For instance right now I am a little tight due to the holidays but if I were able to access my account directly, I could throw 20 or 40 bucks or whatever whenever I find myself with a little extra money. I don't want to use a credit card because I find myself not paying off the entire balance monthly and it gets behind. I would rather pay instantly. I don't think this feature added to a website would be costly in nature either. It is something nearly every single company in america has now.

Anyway, not sure if this is the right place to post this but if RSI could consider it and move forward a bit into the times Smile I bet they would get more customers and make it easier for people to pay them.

I recommend PAYPAL.

Another good thing about paypal that would be a benefit is you can hook up your debit card and do the payments. The only con are the fees associated with the paypal account.

The problem with Paypal is you don't see your account balance. I would like to be able to pull up my account much like a credit card. But paypal would be better than nothing at all.

I asked RSI about the possibility of Paypal years ago, but the idea was nixed.

They take too much % off of every transaction.

My mistake, I thought this was a thread devoted to ideas to make payments to my alliance mate Bill, but I see it is something completely different.

Let me go on the record that any ideas you have to make payments to Bill I support 100% and encourage you to make them.

Our first thought was that was funny, but then we thought it was really a somewhat insensitive comment on a serious topic with some serious answers given by folk.

Personally I think any money put into this by RSI would increase revenue by a ton. Whatever makes it easier for people to pay would be worth it in the long run.

I don't mean paypal, I mean something like this website even where you can simply enter your name, enter your password (encrypted of course) and are able to enter your account. Even if you can't withdrawl it would not be hard to get something set up so you can pay into your account.

I know it would cost something, but I think the benefits for RSI would outweigh the negatives.

Do you know about RSI's credit/debit card authorization form? You can set it up to just take a certain amount out when your account hits a certain point, and I bet they can do one time hits when you have the information on file.

Yes I know about it. It is not what I am looking for. That is for only negative balance stuff, when your account reaches x amount of dollars put in x amount of dollars. I understand they can do that and you can call them and say hey, charge my credit/debit card x amount today.

I want to be able to put in x amount here and there convieniently without having to call up RSI and get a machine or send an email and get one back a few days later. When I win 500.00 in poker online I want to be able to put it in immediately on the spot, before I gamble it away Wink

rsi could set up to do direct online payments (e-check )withthier bank for a very modest fee just like you pay the water company etc .

probalbly less expensive than a visa or master card transaction as well
