Digging for spoilers was a lot more fun before I found this one:
I am in last place for the 2 turn teams.
This one will be torture for some:
5 warriors sought revenge and were successful.
1 warrior sought revenge and was really, really unsuccessful.
Somebody Got Killed on a Blood Feud the Odds are it was from AARDVARK HAMMERZ stable!
Nope, my warrior took out some other poor sap. HEE HEE

I misread one of my fights and thought I had lost a warrior this turn. I did not realize that I actually scored the kill until I got to the end of my fights and noticed there was no replacement RU. I went back and re-read and was shocked at the outcome. Amazing how one mis-read line can make for a good day versus a bad one.
Another cool thing about this turn is that my turn came in the mail today before it posted on the web. I got the complete DM experience today reading the fights one by one, albeit incorrectly at first.
I must admit I didn't find this nearly as amusing as you did!
How can you misread, "Our Dwarf gasps in frantic disbelief as he loses his attempt to battle back DEATH!!!"
Sadly, I knew right away who had died.
That was my dwarf.
A loss, but nothing spectacular.
I do believe we will be meeting on the sands again next turn.

It worked out more like a self-fulfilled prophecy. I read the fighter introductions, noted the style match up and autormatically assumed it was a loss.
To bring back the old game feel, I think they should do away with those descriptive and hard to follow lines and bring back every line beginning with the warrior's name. I wouldn't have missed:
ZANZIBAR gasps in frantic disbelief as he loses his attempt to battle back DEATH!!!
I'll be there for the blood feud, even though I do have to drop $250 on an insurance deductible because I decided to go deer hunting with my wife's Honda Civic

Screaming Boz was a 3 Con Big SZ/SP Striker. I thought I would have out jumped Fulton but we all know how the DEC rolls go. Sometimes you win them sometime you lose them.
The replacement could be kinda fun but it's not as good as Boz.

Yeah, the style match-up seemed favorable until they started fighting. In fact, the warrior I would most like to bloodfeud with is the guy you just killed. Oh well, plan B.
At least losing a 21 speed warrior isn't as painful as some other 21s might be.
