Since my age census provided some insight into the demographics of the game, I thought it would be interesting to poll the crowd to determine who are perceived as the best managers. Here are some parameters:
1. List only 3 managers (they don't need to be in order)
2. Since some of you will have a varying criteria for what defines a best manager, think in terms of who would be the most challenging to go up against.
3. You can vote for yourself if you believe you are one of the game's top three managers.
4. This particular census is more about quality than quantity, so if you have no idea, don't feel obligated to respond. For example, I have no idea who the best managers are beyond what I have heard from some vets, so I won't be weighing in.
5. While some managers do better in the tournies than in regular arenas or the other way around, we are not distinguishing between the two. Besides, if a manager is one of the top 3 in the game, they should be considered a strong competitor regardless of where you face their warriors.
6. You can send me a PM if you want to keep your identity anonymous. I will ONLY be posting the top 5-10 list based on votes and not who submitted the responses.

That's good to know. Since I don't follow the Freeblade forum, I didn't see that one. Since that poll was not conducted with a results recap at the end, this census will be a little different. Also, to keep this from being redundant for those who participated in the previous pole, all they need to do this time around is send me their top 3 without waxing poetic on all of their reasons.
Thanks,
Chase

I'll bite!! Judging on those managers I've competed against, and witnessed with my own eyes. I'll list only active ones too. I believe my top 3 picks would be;
Consortium
Crip
Managerr
3 is such a short list, would have prefered a top 5.

The top 3 managers, in my opinion...I can give you two off the top of my head, some others will run a neck-in-neck for third:
1. Consortium
2. Crip
3. Blackstorm (since he won't vote for himself), Master Darque, Maximullian, Slugbait, Nuln, and Drake

1. Consortium
2. Consortium
3. Consortium
See, he has so many managerial personas that he could be the top thirty or so...
If the list continued it would be all of my brothers in The Iron Council. Because they always bring the Noise.

If Doc Steele played a full time schedule still, I'd have him up there as well. But just playing in AD-Primus doesn't qualify for me. He is still one of the greatest to ever play this game though, and does rank as one of the top 2 of all time.

As an fyi, I'm going to review that thread and export the results into my grid so that people don't have to field the same question twice. The one downside to this audit is that everyone has about 5-10 responses, so I'll say list your top 5 moving forward.

Well, I have to go by past experiences and those managers that always seemed to give me the most trouble. These votes will be dated by about 8-10 years, so do not use them if you feel it will skew your results.
Doc Steele
Guardian
The Sentinel
Miles (not sure if he still plays)
Shadowmaster (not sure if he still plays)
I always remember getting a blg ass grin on my face whenever one of my guys got the better of a warrior from one of these outstanding managers. Especially Doc Steele.

I will list only the managers I have personal knowledge/experience with for my top list, everything else is heresay as far as I'm concerned. We also think it should be top 5, sooo... in no particular order.
Consortium
Crip
Slugbait
Mannequin
Sentinel
I haven't fought alot against Travis but we have had a fair bit of communication over time and he should be on this list IMO.
