Specifically, when is the next mail-in. I know there is a FtF in January, and besides the demo tourneys, is there a mail-in in the meantime?
I never entered a tourney before, and would like to try a mail-in before the FtF. Since I will soon be returning home to AZ after 10 years in the Navy, I am definitely going to the Tempe FtF, but don't wanna be too newbie-ish with the format.
thanks

There should be a mail-in beginning November 1st, with the freeze on Sept. 20. They always have a spring and a fall mail-in; the fall is usually around Halloween, and with that on a Friday this year, it's pretty easy to predict. |

Budget ahead of time.
I send in the same amount each week, and it's over what my expenses are. I usually end up able to run about 20 guys in the tournament with enough left over to buy 20 team rollups or so every 6 months. |

Flagg's Quick Math:
20 tourney entries * $7 = $140.00 * 4 tournies = $560.00
20 team rollups * $5 = $100.00 * 2xper yr. = $200.00
______
$760.00
760/52 = ~14.61/week. Plus normal turn costs.
Hmmm... that's about what I normally spend, when I am running full strength! You must know how to budget and not be layed off!
Hope that formatting for the above math holds true, otherwise it's gonna look like a pretty dumb (and bored) idiot was trying to do something to totally waste some time.
After remembering the preview button: Ok, looks good enough for me! |

Trust me, if I were laid off, I'd not be playing DM!

Good news is that it appears that I will be making my return again here shortly instead of the original post tournament return (that really would have sucked!) |
