So I'm going to run my ADM PLunger in the Halloween tournament, and I'm wondering if anyone has advice on when NOT to run your favorites?
IE, how do you make use of the alternate strategy in an ADM tournament where you know your favorites?
His favs are MO/HI...do you run MO/MO against TP's? I figure just running favorites will have him critting enough to take out any TP in ADM.
Thanks for your help.

When NOT to run your faves is when it is not the best strategy to win with the warrior as designed/trained. Your favorites are nice to use if they are a runnable strategy, but I don't think that you should forgo basic good strategy just for your faves. For instance, your AB may favor LO/VL strat, but it will not help him win. Determine what strat is most likely to help you win and use that. If your faves are close enough to that, then give them a try, but if not then ignore them.
In your case, MO/HI is a great PL rhythm and can be used as a good general purpose strat for a decent ADM PL. Only use your alternate strat if you have a modification you think can help your odds. Slowing down a little bit in mins 2 and later with a PL may be useful if you think your warrior needs the help. If he doesn't need the help, then don't hurt his defensive by slowing his stategy down.
