BRACKETS!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!
Where did you see this?
The following is a quote from Manager a few posts up.
Ok just got off the phone with Lee and here's an update:
Round 1 is set to run in a few hours. It will be bracket style, March Madness type. I'm going to see if I can get the bracket and maybe we can have some prediction games.
Hope we have some sort of update soon. This is worse then waiting for tourney results.
OK, we read THAT, but we thought he was saying "Ah, the brackets; thanks for showing us them."
But now we see he only meant, "Great, it will be a bracket-style competition."
Thanks for clarifying.

WAITING is soooooooooo much fun. One would think it builds the excitement, but after a while it just enhances the disappointment.

At least the first round match ups would be fun debate for sure. 54 warriors, 27 first round fights? Eeks, that wouldn't work. Maybe, there would have to be a play-in round in order to get the number to 48 or so...

I think that they will be adding 10 NPCs to get the number up to 64, as that was easier to calculate than a play-in round....to get to 32...

That sounds like a better idea. Who would want to get stuck in a play-in round? The silly play-in round in the NCAA tournament has always annoyed me...

Anything worthwhile to report

From what we know, unless Sandy or Lee are writing it up themselves, which is very doubtful, it is yet in the not-at-all-run-yet, not-fully-run-yet, or run-but-not-sent-for-writup-yet mode. (Sigh)

I suspect one of the last two.
Finally got ahold of RSI, Lee is out for the weekend.

The next ADM Regional Tournament will be held the Week of September 20th, 2009.
Is the week of Sept 20 over yet?
Here's hoping for a Crysalis win and a Home Guard 2nd place.
Notice that the tournament "announcement" does not indicate when the publishing of the results will be?
Oct 7 and counting ..................................................
Does that mean it is taking one of those 32,000+ minute fights to crown a winner?

Perhaps the tourney is running in real time. Thus, your 32,000+ minute fight will have the tourney wrapping up October 12th or 13th.

"Aye, I've come to the right place then."

Update: It's not done running yet and Lee is now swamped (apparently Sandy is gone now) with work. (And now the pre-tourney stuff needs to happen as well)
She's given me a new date of October 15th.
As a side note, mini-overviews were supposed to go out this weekend, but didn't. She hopes they'll be done soon.

When you say Sandy is gone now, I assume you mean like out of the office for a week or something, and not *gone*! right?
