Turn 104

Well I decided to go ahead and move the Unholy Knights out and start over with a new team with a similar name so as to not be Unhloy but still be similar enough that returning teams would know who I am so the O'Holy Knights (the original team name for the Unholy Knights until I changed it at the last min) will be entering into the arena this turn.

Here is what you used to be facing:

Tore up the TPs, STs and WS gave him problems. STs out jumped him and WS swung back when he stopped to take a breath.

Beastier Wee-18(+1)-10-7-13(+1)-21-12-5 LU; EXP ATT+3 (+4 ATT, +3 PAR, -1 INI) Great END/Good DMG
I really liked her tenacity, she really was a beast and much meaner than Wee Beastie

Arabian Knight-9-9-15-17-17-4-13 WS

He might have developed into quite a warrior but to early to tell.

I understand the desire to start over. Sometimes a bad record is a self-fulfilling thing. You try to dig yourself out but sink deeper. I have retired a team once before and immediately replaced it for the same reasons as you.

It's water under the bridge now, but had I been in your shoes I'd have privately shared my warriors with another manager and gotten suggestions on how to run them and whether to DA them. Sometimes we get in ruts and patterns that are ineffective and we need another person's input to see it clearly. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with your four Unholy Knights (they are better than all of my warriors, generally) and I would have stuck with them while altering my strategies and challenges.

My Far Travelers are doing poorly in Shadowspire, mainly because I took a mediocre rollup sheet and took some chances and did some stubborn/stupid things. I have one warrior with a winning record. But I'm not going to give up on the team, even if I end up DAing most of the stable eventually. This is my mess, and I'm going to deal with it.

But I understand your frustration and don't begrudge your decision. Good luck with the O'Holy Knights, Ben.

The reason for the change is to get rid of the name I know they say they are going to allow it next year but I don't want to wait. I didn't totally trash the team I moved them to 84 so I may try to graduate them thru tourneys. But I do like the new team and the names I think I am going to have fun with it...Christmas year round...YEA!!!

Nothing wrong with using the feeling of a fresh start to get things going in a better direction. Good luck withe the new Knights.

I wasn't going to look until I got my turn, but since I was up, I did. 3-2. I'd say not bad, but let's see how the fights went and what I learned.

I can't seem to get into terrablood anymore.

A 5-0 in Shadowspire!
3-0 in randoms
1-0 in challenges
1-0 in bloodfeuds (although a quite cheesy one at that)

Two fine Christmas spots. Kudos to both of you guys. We really enjoyed them

Well, I am certainly in the doghouse now after my 3-2-1 turn. A couple of turns ago I killed one of Bubba's 23rd Army. He avenged the bloodfeud last turn, but I suspected he might rechallenge again and was prepared. Unfortunately, I was a little too prepared as I killed the avenging warrior in the process. Opps. Overall I was pleased with the turn, but I just wish I could get Flaccus going as he has really good numbers! Hopefully next turn.
