Just realized tonight that Judas Priest's new album came out July 8th. AWESOME!I have new music to listen to!

Judas Priest - Down in Flames

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tYzuz_0QvQ

Judas Priest - Secrets of the Dead

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4orNgfVdgww

Judas Priest- Beginning of the End

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZ4W6KeGdRM

The album is called Redeemer of Souls... Halford can still belt it out at the age of 62!

Edit- Had to add 1 more that has grown on me fast... very anthemic and energetic!

Judas Priest- Battle Cry

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss5uhrzXI-s

and the first single from the album

Judas Priest- March of the Damned

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_LVmLGmu7U

I probably could have included all 13 songs and 5 bonus tracks from the deluxe version but I limit to 5 of the best I guess! I sure hope this isn't their final album because this one really kicks @$$! Guess I'll be heading to Best Buy to pick up this one!!!

Redeemer of Souls debuted at #6 on the Billboard charts... nice job boys!

If you would indulge me I was caught up in the final song off the bonus Disc of Redeemer of Souls. It is a ballad that almost sounds like a farewell, and a thank you, to the fans.... how fitting the last song on what might be the last Priest album!

Judas Priest- Never Forget

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApFyTdpRv5M

Wondering if DNoble is out there and has thoughts on this song... or anyone else... what a moving ballad and the Bass lines, as well as the guitar solo, in the song are anthemic!!!

"As we relive the best times of our lives
You were there for us and stood right by our sides
Yes we know that all good things come to an end
This is just farewell and not goodbye my friends
And we thank you for it all
We will never forget"

Evergrey putting out another album at the end of the month! They are in the prog-metal scene like Dream Theater is!

Been 4 years waiting...Hymns for the Broken

Evergrey- King of Errors

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pmmh69G-pt0

Song starts around 1:55 mark... If listening to the beginning bores you .....sweet video and awesome song! The breakdown at 3:47 is such a turn in the song followed by a hellacious solo! Tom Englund at his best!

Older Evergrey

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ8PXXrCasE&list=RDPmmh69G-pt0&index=11

New Lacuna Coil!

Lacuna Coil - Nothing Stands in our Way

In Flames- Rusted Nail

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9lCXVFCs20&list=RDPmmh69G-pt0&index=7

Hammerfall - Hector's Hymn

Just found this interesting song:

Insomnium- While We Sleep

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBZ5SLJmfdw&list=RDPmmh69G-pt0&index=8

I LOVE the music, especially towards the end around 4:10, but wish it wasn't sung like it is so much.

The new Queensryche singer is sounding more like Geoff Tate. Except he can't hit some of the high notes.. Silent Lucidity was pretty "Tate like"

Queensryche- Take Hold of the Flame- at Sweden Rocks 2014

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YtEGNJd6jg

Queensryche - Silent Lucidity Sweden Rocks 2014

They seem to be more energetic again. I was impressed by the guitars. I think the in fighting made it seem like they were just going through the motions!

Just found an awesome all star appearance with a famous band at the Juno Awards in 1993! WOW! Jeff Healey and Weird Al introduce them. Jeff Healey takes Al's keys and says he will drive him home! He's blind after all Laughing

It's from the Phil X era... no Rik Emmett but Phil X rocked a tough song to play!

Triumph w/ Sebastien Bach - Rock and Roll Machine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGEhQG1AMFY

Sebastien seemed to be having a good time and "bangin his head"!

Rock 'n' roll machine plays faster
Easy as ringin' a bell
A fireball steamer, heavy metal screamer
Playin' licks hotter than hell

Just read that ultimate Bass player Randy Coven died in May; I think.

Here's a piece of his magic!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilsKlbAjhEw

He might be even better than Billy Sheehan?!?!

R.I.P. Randy!

Pretty cool band that I didn't know about... as you can tell I'm scouring YouTube for stuff that radio won't play in America.

These guys are like Black Keys meets Clutch!

WTF happened to Winger?

Album has been out a while now, 5-6 months, but I'm just catching up on it.... They really ROCK on this one... tell all the jokes you want but they are almost all virtuosos:
Kip Winger= A VERY good bassist and writes classical parts for Symphonie and ballets that have been performed.

Reb Beach= A top 20 80's guitarist, if you're tagged to play in Dokken and you have to play George Lynch's guitar parts you're pretty damn

Paul Taylor= Keyboardist and guitarist who has played from Alice Cooper to Aldo Nova

Rod Morgenstein= A guy who was with the Dixie Dregs (fusion jazz). His playing says it all!

Winger- Rat Race

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp57jqoKJ7E

Winger- Tin Soldier

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20xl9x8BhUM

Winger- Queen Babylon

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PAMyrZur9Q

Winger- Midnight Driver of a Love Machine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tOzsssTtDU

Winger- Better Days Coming

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iar9r_oS5I

There's not a bad bunch in that group. I guarantee what Kip Winger says is true. Metallica could never play our stuff, they lack the technical ability, but we could play their stuff with one hand tied behind our backs... Let's face it Metallica was going to fire Lars right around the time of Cliff Burton's death. These guys have BLOWB me away with this masterful Prog-Metal album!

Bonus-

Rated X - This Is Who I Am (Official / 2014 / JL Turner - C. Appice - T. Franklin - K. Cochran)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkmWYqztVi8

Joe Lynn Turner sounds awesome still, Carmine Appice(?) do I have to even say it? Tony Franklin on Bass and Karl Cochran, who wrote with Kiss, on guitar! It's a rocker.. VERY NICE Hard Rock album!

Allen Lande is a collaboration between Jorn Lande (Master Plan, ex- Helloween) and Russell Allen (Symphony X). Guitar player can SHRED and yet is soulful! This super group is just that SUPER! I would by this album! Some amazing Vocal gymnastics with these guys.

Allen Lande -Come Dream With Me

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQdJlvzBl1Q

Allen Lande - Down From the Mountain

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6e6fSa7oJM

Allen Lande - Lady of Winter

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_OvrGEbMvo

Some incredible stuff from older albums.

Allen Lande- Judgement Day

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E60LkuqedMc

Allen Lande- Reach a Little Longer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykMn53ecPqM

Allen Lande- When Time doesn't Heal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z92gDlGLfJY

Ummm WOW ^

Ok one last song before this takes up a whole page.

Allen Landie- Gone Too Far

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqcmTZthKQk
