I know a lot of times a manager will DA challenge a graduate who is already immortal on their way out the door.

But, you do see a throw away survive from time to time. When that happens do you immediately DA again or do you give them a chance to see if it was a fluke or if there is something there?

Anyone ever had a replacement survive DA and ride it out until graduation?

Sure, once in a while an intended DA disposable will win. What next? It really depends on one's personal feelings. We have done both - re-DA and ride 'em out. Yes, there have been DA survivors graduate.

Surviving the DA is an achievement whether it's a graduate or an initiate. So, it all depends on the initiate and how he/she/it fought. If it was a total parry scum just lucky enough to survive then send them back. However, if it was another class with a stat (or two) you didn't like it might be worth fighting them a round or two to see how they do. Remember the Dark Arena isn't going anywhere and is still your friend. Good luck!
