Almost certainly a SL for me at: 11-5-19-17-17-8-7. I like warriors like this, and am a little jealous. |

I really like the Consortium's lunger. Jack's basher would be pretty cool too. I would not bother raising the strength to seventeen. He's going to deal tons of damage. I would concentrate on his constitution and maybe raise his strength to sixteen. |

Screw con, it's too low too do much good, try for awesome damage and run him 10-10-10-decise. He'll take out any style mostly except for strikers who tend to get the jump. |

I like the lunger option and don't really care about the low deftness. But I would want to get the str to 11 for the longsword. Yes, I'll use it even with the 7 deftness.
11-5-19-17-17-7-7
I have one point left I need to figure out what to do with. |

I'm liking this one, but I would try...
9-5-19-17-19-7-8 LU (short sword or short spear initially)
OR a short sword /hatchet-wielding SL. Definitely bump WL, DF, and ST.
11-5-19-19-21-9-9 when burned crispy. Oh yeah... |

He needs it for endurance. I would raise strength once, con twice (if possible). Maybe I would do WILL later. But you need con because no matter how much damage you do, it won't help your warrior if he is on the ground gasping for air. |

I had a similar guy, who never got to graduation so I can only report a pretty succesful warrior who died.
I went:
9-5-19-13-13-7-4 -----> 9-5-19-17-18-7-9 LU
Chose LU to maximize it's skill base and to get a chance at bonuses in all skill areas. Bases are 13/5/11/-1/5/8 Good to Tremendous Damage range, listed as 5%/90%/5% I got Great, should have normal endurance (252 endurance points and the highest I ever had with Poor Endurance was 234).
If it has even a +2 DEC you start with 11 ATT 10 DEC a pretty nice way to start off, assuming mode ATT that is. I went with the last point in WL for a few reasons:
1)Could have gone ST for a 1 train to suited LS and 3 trains from LO suited, and theoretically eliminated a chance at Good damage but I'll gamble at 95% Great or better, and I don't mind using a LO with 9 ST and 7 DF so I surely don't mind using it with this guy against heavy armor. Plus I get 7 extra endurance points by going WL, not much but with a LU I'll take it! I'll train it later!
2) Could've gone with the last point in SP but it'll only give me 1 DEC skill so in this case I'll go WL. I'll burn it later!
3) Could've gone 10 DF with the last point and would've been 1 train, with a 85%-ish success rate, away from those beautiful 2 ATT skills and 2 DEF skills; the 2 PAR are a "throw in" but overlooked by me. I'll burn it later!
4) I would LOVE to burn up to a 21 WL and trying to get there from a 17 WL is almost ludicrous with a nice 17 WT warrior, the 3rd train is already only about a 23.75% success rate, the 4th and final train would be around a 12.5% success rate .... NO CHANCE I am doing that with this guy; I have only trained 2 guys 4 times in a single stat area and I'd be willing to say both were probably 21 WLs training CN on a low WT Total Parry, I don't recall the other but recently did this: 15(1)-20(4)-19-3-21(2)-8-6(1) - the TP Consortium talked me into who graduated 30-20-0. This way you need only 3 trains and the last is at a 25% chance.
I sizzle this guy to a 11-6 (or maybe 7)-19-17-21-8-11 LU . Pretty nice in the long run!
This publication brought to you by THE DEATH SQUAD (63) in Tobir arena. It is for the benefit of new and returning Managers, like Padre, to see my personal thought process. It was not meant to try and teach Lord Consortium anything, as before long he will get to the 1500 graduate mark before we know it! |
