The question was recently asked - should one believe that the chance of dying in a tournament is half that in the normal arenas.
It probably is. BUT, one has to realize that the % is PER FIGHT. Example: say the death rate is 2% per figt in arenas, then it would be 1% in tournament fights
BUT, since one averages 5 fights in a tournament, that totals 5% death rating, ot 2.5 times the rate of dying in a normal arena fight.
Could that be true?
THE SAD STORY ..............................
we entered 56 warriors in the 2013 Tempe Face
6 died (we actually thought it had been 7)
the losses:
11-5-8-17-17-5-21 AB (Appr) sandbagger
9-8-5-17-17-7-21 AB (Rook) sandbagger
16-3-9-21-9-10-17 BA (Adep) active arena warrior
15-5-9-21-17-6-11 ST (Chal) sandbagger with 3 TVs
15-5-9-21-17-6-11 ST (Chal) sandbagger with 2 TVs
yes, they were identical stats)
11-12-12-21-9-8-11 ST (Init) active arena warrior
Please do not bother us for a while as we are in deep mourning.
