USPS to end Saturday deliveries

I wonder how badly this is going to effect our beloved game?

Probably not much. The mail in transit will still move. Just think of all the turns you hoped to get on Saturdays, sometimes they don't show... so you just wait til Monday.

It still sucks. I already get my stuff insanely late as it is. This will just make it more so. Mad

Wednesday is the slowest day for deliveries for USPS. Plus it wouldn't mean no mail delivery for 3 days straight for all the monday holidays for us and tons of extra mail for them to deliver on tuesdays after the 3 day holidays.

The way the mail is happening now, we can't see how this will make the least bit of difference.

Yea the carriers aren't happy thats for sure. Mondays are already "the suck!" Now they are going to be insanely bad. Personally its not bad for me because I coach and have games on Saturdays in the spring and the fall. I have had to use my vacation days to take Saturdays when I could and switch with other carriers to get the days off and it is a pain in the ass. This way at least I will have those off.

My suggestion to those that still want to get mail is get a PO Box. They are relatively cheap and you will get mail 6 days a week still. The Post Office will still be open Saturdays and Packages will still be delivered.

You could be like the carriers that alternate on my route and just not deliver mail on Monday. My conspiracy theorist mind can't remember the last time we got mail on a Monday.

Luckily for me I am my own mailman! I deliver to my house and I live 5 minutes from the post office. I will just go there and dig through the mail on Sat and get mine! So its all good!
