I'm a little stumped on this one ...
One thought is 12-10-10-15-15-13-9 SL (or ST or LU) ...
It just seems a little "average" ...
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Trim

I'd make this a burner.....12-10-10-16-17-13-6 and burn it to a 13-10-10-17-17-14-7 ST.

Warriors who are lacking in DF/WT/WL must be looked at in a sense of choosing a style to minimize that deficiency's effect/affect. Low WL can be diminished in effect by using a low endurance burn style and/or a style that doesn't depend on taking a certain amount of damage and still managing to win. Low WT can be minimized by defensive styles or styles less dependent on skill level. Low DF can be minimized by high ATT styles, or again styles less dependent on skill levels.
This guy is not severely deficient in ATT, despite the low DF, because it has pretty high WT and WL. To me I'd look at styles who have a fairly decent selection of low DF weapons and is probably not a defensive style because I'd like to maximize the high-ish SP. I'd be thinking about LU/SL/BA. I might think ST but the style has a low ATT base and too many points in CN versus DF. In general you tend to want something along the, skill bases from said stats, lines of 17 WT, 9 WL, 11 DF minimum for a ST, as a general rule in my book; or again any combination of ATT skills that equal the 15 ATT skills that comefrom those stat numbers. PS does not have to do so due to it's defensive capabilities if the build is right.
I also like Terminator's burn idea but as another possibility for a burner consider this:
12-10-10-10-11-13-4 -----> 12-10-10-15-15-13-9 LU/SL/PL/BA/PS/ST burnt to 13-10-10-17-17-13-11. If going LU or PL could also go to SP of 15 at some point for DEF,DEC,RIP,and INI skills along the way.
If I burn I would generally like to take any single point from one area, in Terminator's example WT and 2 points of WL, and put them into DF taking it into the range of burning it to the ever important 11 DF mark. By doing so I still keep WT and WL burnable to 17 with 2 trains each. It's a bit more stat training intensive but I think it'll better balance the warrior and it gives you alot more weapons to choose from.
With the examples with more than 1 style listed I listed them in order of my preference for this particular warrior. By no means does it mean the best choice, in general.

This becomes either a
13-10-10-15-17-14-5 BA
or a
12-10-10-15-17-13-7 SL

I would simply DA it. It looks similar to my 3 replacement rollups from the tourney, none of which will ever see the light of day.

Spoken like a jaded tourney manager
12-10-10-10-11-13-4-->12-10-10-15-17-13-7 SL/LU/BA probably in that order

I'm going with the above as a Slasher.
Appreciate all the feedback! Especially Street Legal's analytical approach. I've gotta keep that handy for future reference.

No problem at all. I may not be a tourney, or even a basic design, expert but I think I've designed enough to offer some tips to new and returning managers to help them help themselves a bit. Plus I've read and talked with enough good managers to add what I've gained from them.
I've found that looking at warrior design style by style, as they come along, seems to eliminate some of the confusion and clutter from thought process and shock of "What the hell do I do with this..." By eliminating 4-5 styles right off the bat you only have to design it for a few styles and then look at which makes the most sense compared to your experience and knowledge.
If some of my advice can help us keep managers around, and ease frustration, then all the better .... Even at the expense of some wins!
