Well, the draft went off this year with nary a peep on our board here. What did everyone think?

I'm guessing most would agree it was the most boring first round in recent history. No big trades, the top 2 QB's weren't even there, and the top 10 went off with no huge surprises. Lot of experts said there were only about 15 players worthy of first-round picks to begin with, so I would've thought some teams at 15-32 would have tried to move up more, but I guess there were no real big ticket, have-to-have players.

As for the Vikes, my team held on to A.P. and picked the guy everyone thought they would with Trae Waynes, CB Michigan State, at 11. I was very happy with this pick, and their second rounder, LB Kendricks from UCLA for a new MLB to pair with Barr from last year. They took a chance on a DE in round 3 from LSU who is a physical freak but underachieved and/or was inconsistent in college. I give them a B for the whole draft at this point.

How are everybody else's teams looking??

Redskins here too and it was an extremely weak draft and they should have traded down to get more picks.

It doesn't help that we have the worst owner in the league and a head coach that runs a dink, dink, bomb offense. We finally got rid of Haslett for a new def coordinator, but this guy had the worst defense in the league the last time he was a coordinator.

I am expecting a 4-12 season at best with RG3 getting all the blame, even though the defense will still suck and Gruden will continue to try and shove a square peg into a round hole on offense.

I think your going to like your new CB VERY much! Part of MSU's "No Fly Zone"!

The Lions made a few smart moves trading down in round 1 for more picks but they didn't address the D-Line that is decimated minus Fairley and Suh.... Crying or Very sad

On an aside Stik make sure you check my new post on what I'm listening to... KXM (new super group..... the KX should give you a hint Wink )
