(Got posted in turn 225 for some reason)
A bit early for the turn, but thought I'd start it by saying that the Dragonbane Guild is going to miss this turn - I think only our second missed turn in the 226 so far. The last one was because the mail got to Phoenix late. This one will because when my envelope got their on time - it was empty.
Yep. Empty. But looked like it had been opened and resealed. And the turnsheets aren't laying around the house anywhere as if I simply forgot to send them. So, apparently, someone fiddled with my mail and then, for some reason, still bothered to shut the envelope and send it onward. Which seems weird. Oddly, and luckily, this was one of the very few envelopes I have ever sent to RSI that did not include a check. Just a bunch of turnsheets. I guess this means I will miss 106 as well, which stinks since it is a slow arena.
So as you read your turns just remember you all got lucky. I had plans for a 5-0 turn, so say your thanks to the mail thief!

Surprise! I guess I was on maintenance - didn't know that. It is nice they fought in a way, although I didn't really want it. I generally figure if I don't care enough to fill out a turn sheet, I have better things to do with my money. So no maintenance. Or so I thought. And, of course, no challenges and avoids with maintenance - and we did suffer a couple of challenge losses.
Still, a 2-3 turn when I expected to be sitting out isn't all bad. Arena 21 did end up with a miss.

Nomad, that mail thing bothers me. Just last week I talked with a guy I met while waiting at my car dealership. Somebody had gone through his mail, too. Identity theft. Big pain in the ass to fix -- if it ever really gets fixed.
STS went 1-4, but as I missed a turn and this one went in late, more as an after-thought, I'm not surprised. Won't see the papers until next week, but it seems like my guys fought veterans, so hopefully I'll see some skill learns this time!! They just don't seem to be learning like I think they should.
Since I have the time this weekend (well, not really, but I'll make the time) I'll work on a spotlight. Something with Den doing practical jokes... like slipping into Search the Sky's armory and coating the sword handles with cooking oil.
Yeah, I'll blame my losses on that.....

It bothers me also. I don't think I'm going to use the house mailbox for awhile. It really is lucky that there was no check in the envelope - and I don't think I sent anything else out at the same time. But I am keeping an eye on things.
