Greetings!

It's been a long, long, long time since I last played Duel2. In fact, it was called Duelmasters when I last watched my fighters take to the sands.

I'm coming out of retirement and have been honored, if that's the word, with this interesting chap...

4-10-14-7-16-4-15

I'm considering 5-10-14-13-17-4-21 Off. TP

What say you?

Welcome to the world of Aimed Blows. I don't have any idea what you know about the modern game, but Aimers dominate at many levels.

4-10-14-7-16-4-15 = 5-10-14-9-21-4-21 AB

I am not the top manager in the game overall, nor a specialist in ABs, but that is what I would tend to do. It won't dominate with the low wit, but it has some nice long term potential. It would be hard for me to resist the double 21s.

If you have questions, go ahead and post them on the forum. People will answer. Or check out the chatzy link - you will find lots of helpful people there as well. Or send a PM or three on the site. The game has changed since it was Duelmasters. Essentially it is the same, except a lot more is known which means some old "truths" are not so truthful anymore.

Welcome back.
9-10-14-9-21-4-17 Lunger or Waste
9-10-14-9-21-6-15 Lunger or Waste

Nomads Aimer is also a good choice.

If you are interested in making this replacement into a TP, I would go:

4-10-14-7-16-4-15 --> 9-10-14-11-21-4-15 TP

Well suited to the Scimitar and with the 21 WL to make sure he lasts long enough to use it.

Welcome back to the game!

Thanks for the info everybody.

This particular rollup is for Jade Mountain (75); I have a good AB (7-2) and a WoS (6-0) out of Andor (57) and Khalani (55) respectively. Which brings me to my next question...does anybody know what happened to warriors and teams from arenas that are now gone/deleted.blown off the face of Alastari?

Super fun guy!

I see 21's and I can't resist...

I'd make this guy into: 7-10-14-7-21-4-21

As far as style?
AB - AB's are the best style in the Advanced classes (ADM-Primus), so 'busting' those 21's is super for them.

PL/TP/PR - All FINE choices, with super starting parry rating. Weapon selection is somewhat limited, but I'd expect this warrior to do just fine.

WS/PS - I like these less because of weapon selection for the WS, learning not matching the bases for the PS. But because they are parry styles, if I really wanted to force it, I could go with either.

LU - I have yet to run a double 21 lunger like this. I have zero experience and no clue how it would do. I see all those parry skills and I never get down to this choice, assuming I get past the AB choice. I see nothing wrong with the lunger other than the weapon selection issue that this guy has in general.

I just had this rollup recently; I went 5-10-14-9-21-4-21 AB... he went 5-3-0 in the rookies, then 1-1-dead in the Apps.

Thanks for that info, Buri.

I'm probably out of the loop quite a bit, but doesn't that low Wit-7/9 effect his skill learning? Would it be better to make him Wit-13 during creation for better long term skill learning? In other words, wouldn't he soon surpass the 7 Wit rollup in Skills in around 10-12 fights?

You get into the big questions of ,,,
giving up design skills for more WT
and
how much more WT really learns that many more skills
and
which wins and keeps the aimer alive

Nowadays, it seems the feeling is 21 is best, 17 ain't at all bad, 11 is next, and then why not 7 or all the way to 3? Other wits seem far and few between unless it is a "burner".

RSI still has them and can resurrect them in the arena of you choice. I believe moving a team from a dead arena is also the one way to get two teams in the same arena.

It is confirmed that a mgr can move a team from a closed arena to another arena, even though that manager may have anther team there. Both teams can be run, and warriors of those teams , under the same manager ID, cannot fight each other.
