Have fun in New Orleans. I am jealous. Try the drive through daiquiris.

N. O. looks like it will be a great place so far.
Plenty of places to eat around the Hilton. (kinda pricey, though)
However, we are not really lovers of the hotel room.
No outlets at the desk not in use.
No drawers to place clothes, if one desires.
however, the A/C does work.
The meeting room looks enormous.
Had a great time (4 hours) at the National WWII Museum. (EXCELLENT!)

Good luck to everyone there this weekend!
Would someone be able to post pictures of the event this weekend. I know I and likely others would love to see them.
Thank you in advance!

My friends went to the WWII museum. They said it was amazing. One of the places I regret not going to before I moved to the Great White North.

WW II museum is amazing. If you are down there, and choose not to go, I will hate you for years and note that hate in many spotlights and PA's.

Yep, Mannequin and I went to the National WW II Museum together. It was awesome! So well done, so thorough, so classy. We spent almost 4 hours there and it was a highlight.

That is great guys. I am even more jealous. I said this on Chatzy. But if you haven't tried it before, get a muffaletta. Thanks me later.

I sent my entire King of Primus team and the living members of my Turf War team, leaving only 17 legitimate tourney warriors. There are some solid warriors among them, but I suspect my chances of TCing are in the low double digits or high single digits.
Good luck to everyone in the tourney. I look forward to following the action online!

Good luck to all, this is the first tourney in a while that I haven't sent anyone to. So, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that I won't be winning any TC's this time around

Day 1 is in the books.
After scraping along for five rounds with a 59-59-0-1 record, kept to 50% by the ballast that is my King of Primus team, rounds six and seven have allowed me to creep up to 53% with a 74-66-0-1 overall record.
The one death was a doozy. GAMMA VELORUM, a 9(2)-10-11-21-21-5-11 PL, died at 0-2 in Inits. So he'll be a Dead Adept in October. And then again in the following October. And then again in the following October...
Of 25 warriors that entered, 8 remain. Two are 7-0, three are 6-1, and three are 5-2. As I might have expected, the best part of my team is in Contenders to Freshmen. All five of those warriors, two bust-outs and three sandbaggers, are alive and fighting. Round 7 is usually one of hope, where you imagine all of your remaining warriors going on to TV and TC. Round 10 is when reality sets in, as all of them could be eliminated by then!
