Any hope for this guy? And by hope, I mean graduating with at 58%+ win percentage.
I have two thoughts: one, boosting Wit, Will.
15-4-17-13-21-5-9 BA
The second more of an offbeat design, spending nothing on Wit.

The second design should have a DF of 13

I may need more coffee, but I think you only added 12 points to your first BA.
For me, the easy design here is: 15-4-17-13 (6) -21 (6) -3-11 (2) LU. It's your same design but it adds the two points I think you were missing from your first BA. Normal or better endurance, DAM between Great and Awesome (per Terrablood), and Cannot take a lot for HPs.
Here's the skill breakdown:
Ini: 10 Has learned to be a decisive and quick fighter
Rip: 2
Att: 14 Landing blows on vital areas
Par: 4
Def: 5 Makes few mistakes
Dec: 6
So, you'd know +2 or better ATT and DEF from the rollup.
That said...
I'd probably go PL because I'm on a PL kick at the moment. Same stats. Here's the skill breakdown:
Ini: 7
Rip: 2
Att: 12 Landing blows on vital areas
Par: 6 Parrys intelligently
Def: 3 Makes few mistakes
Dec: 5
So this rollup would show you +4 ATT / DEF which is pretty nice.
That said, LU would probably be easier for you to achieve your target win %.

Consortiumites go after 60% w/l with this:
17-4-17-11-21-3-11 BA (maybe ST)

I like Consortium's 17-4-17-11-21-3-11 as a basher. If he lives.

You made me double-check. No, the first one is good. +6 Wit; +6 Will; +2 Speed. The second one is missing two points, which should be in deftness.

Thanks, Vladimer.
And thanks Consortium. You both given me some things to think about. 20 years ago I never would have believed low Witters could win (with the exception of TPs), now it seems I'm learning more and more can.
Cheers!

First:
I recommend extra points on speed (for offensives) be used to make speed even, not odd. Decise skills come at even values of speed.
If I was going to go basher, I'd probably go:
15-4-17-13-21-3-11 BA.
However I can't see this guy performing as well as you'd like unless he rolls very well. He is slow with below average initiative and mediocre wit. If your arena is full of scum, maybe he has a future.
To get to the winning clip you desire, I'd be looking at a hybrid design:
15-4-17-7-21-3-11 LU/TP/PR/WS +6 points to taste/style
Each has weaknesses (I'm not even sure what style I'd be thinking, probably TP or LU), but at least I look at the stats and see a warrior that I'm not completely relying on exception rolls to make the warrior win. My first thinking on the last 6 points is 2 to strength, 4 to constitution. But lots of places that could be fun.
I could also see foregoing the wins entirely and taking the double 21's! In fact, I could 'argue' that this basher is better than the first, though I don't think he is. (the argument is about focusing on the warriors strengths and making it very clear to yourself who he challenges and who he beats down to a pulp) But I'd look at this as a fun warrior, not the best chance to win:
21-4-17-7-21-3-11 BA

As Dean Vernon Wormer once said, "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son."
That is how I feel about roll-ups like this. You either need to add a lot of points to CN so he can take a hit or three or add a lot of points to WT & SP in hopes of being able to attack first. 4 CN, 7 WT, and 3 SP is no way to go through Duel2.
Personally, I like:
15-4-17-7-15-3-9 --> 15-10-17-7-21-3-11 WS
7 WT is all that is needed for the Battle Axe, he gets starting 8 Att/8 Par, which isn't terrible for a SZ 17 warrior and he is one ST train and one or two CN trains away from some key physical breakpoints (one CN train gets him "can take A LOT" and one additional ST and CN train gets him "can carry a GOOD AMOUNT OF WEIGHT in weapons and armor").
Just my two cents!

AMEN! I like this one the best, with the key understanding that it is a Dixie. Burn every skill possible, starting with SP. Once all the stats are raised by two you can start some finesse challenges; until then I'd just look for matches that won't get this guy killed.
Once every stat has a couple of points tacked on, he will be a formidable fighter.

Thanks for the responses everyone. My gut instinct was this bloke should go straight to the DA, but I'm going to try him as a hybrid, either a WS or LU, it will be a mail-time decision. I all ready have five bashers in Advanced, and while that seems a logical choice here, I'm wanting to experiment a bit and see what happens.
