this roll up is so close to the all 12's guy.. 10-12-13-5-12-10-8-->12-12-13-11-12-12-12... is this worth running and what style? I think I remember hearing making it a piker??

Well, no 12-12-12-12-12-12-12 piker is really worth running! But so many of us still try. The idea is to make one and get a "clean" profile sheet and to "do your best". It is rather challenging.
That said, your guy simply won't cut it. Not all twelves. No way! But, why not give it a try. Who knows how much fun you might have or how much you might learn?
Besides, if you don't, what else are you gonna do with it? Join the DA parade? Make a 15-13-13-7-17-10-9 basher? Go the typical Consortium 12-18-13-5-18-10-8 TP route?
Good luck.

This is the design I go with as either a lunger or wall of steel. Total parry probably wins more, but I don't think even I could run that TP.
It isn't great, but it is fun. And I have a goal to graduate a sext-13 warrior! My all-12's guy only needs to survive 3 more turns to graduate!

One 'nice' thing about this setup. Nobody would bat an eye if you went with your 12's design or DD's 13's design because as you noted: it doesn't make anything exciting with a more traditional design, either.
