SPY REPORT
Greetings, my darlings, and welcome back to Seam. This week's arena felt a bit like a
festival after the muscians have packed up and gone home. The banners still fluttered,
the crowd still gathered, and the sand still thirsted for battle, but many familiar
teams were nowhere to be seen. The absence of warriors from Chopping Mall, Manx Corps,
and Assassins left noticeable gaps in the lineup, and Seam felt smaller for it. That
is not to say there was no action. Far from it.
The Darque Knights arrived at the arena ready for battle and rode away with an
impressive 4-1 record. Their queen of the sands, Enid Ravenscar, successfully defended
the throne by defeating Mist Song. The victory improves her record to 12-7-1 and keeps
the DM crown firmly in Darque Knights' hands.
The Warlords remain one of Seam's steadiest forces, holding the best career record
among the active chartered teams and posting another solid turn overall. The Phool
entertained the crowd with a hard-fought victory, while Mace Face added another win to
the ledger. Even in defeat, Mist Song remains one of the arena's most respected
competitors.
Meanwhile, Six Pints Deep continues to grow into a dangerous young stable. Pogmo Thoin
remains undefeated at 6-0 and crushed Ryz Razorhand in convincing fashion. Hold Mybeer
also earned an important victory over Orc Monk. If these young warriors continue
developing, the established powers of Seam may have another challenger to worry about.
Still, I cannot but hope next turn brings fuller sands. An arena thrives on rivalries.
It thrives on challenges and the unexpectd moment when an unknown warrior shocks a fan
favorite. An arena excels when two champions finally settle a score. Every absent team
represents stories left untold. Come tell those stories!
So, consider this an invitation. To the merchants of Chopping Mall, reopen your
questionable stalls and send your fighters. To the solidiers of Manx Corps, march back
onto the sands. And finally to the Assassins, emerge from your shadows. Seam is always
brightest when every banner is flying.
The arena might have felt quiet this turn, but quiet arenas rarely stay so for long.
New warriors are rising and old champions are defending their ground. We have several
warriors that look promising and are beginning to climb the arena ranks. All we need
now is for everyone to show up!
