SPY REPORT
Come in, my dears, and warm yourselves by the fire. Sidara Brightbell has returned
with the latest news from Seam, and what a bittersweet turn it has been! The Warlords
have reclaimed the top team honors, and Mist Song now wears the Duelmaster's crown
after giving Ryz Razorhand a thorough thrashing. But their celebration comes with
sorrow. Yes, it is a short-lived sorrow, but sorrow all the same. The Phool
(foolishly) challenged Arenamaster Vyandyl in the Dark Arena and died. Luckily for
him, the Commission has the best healers in Ghea for our noble Lord Protectors. The
Phool will be revived and sent on his way!
The Warlords certainly kept themselves busy elsewhere. Bully Bully gave poor Sera
Starbloom such a walloping that I imagine she's still counting her teeth, while Mace
Face and Orc Monk added victories of their own. The Sand Eaters, however, gathered the
most recognition points this turn, with Big Feelings, Sir Stumbles, and Mad Petunia
all finding success. Their fourth victory came at a terrible price for Of Wolf and Man
when The Mild killed Selene Rook, avenging Fearful Hero's earlier death. Such a
dreadful circle of vengeance, isn't it? One team finds satisfaction while another is
left with an empty chair. My condolences to those mourning Selene.
Amanda of Able Company continues to make the older warriors nervous, remaining
undefeated after overpowering Mec Vann Ironhand. Durin's Folk found encouragement in
victories by Kili and Ironfoot, while Seam Stress welcomed two successful newcomers,
Dogless Flea and Webless Spider. A flea without a dog and a spider without a web! I do
hope their manager isn't collecting ingredients for a potion. Meanwhile, Prince Vultan
of 80s Fantasy earned the crowd's favor after a vicious victory over Deemster Dhone.
Apparently the prince knows how to entertain his audience!
I'm afraid the Devil Dinosaurs had a dreadful homecoming. Awefullosaurus, Brontosaurus
Rex, and Rhinosaur all perished in the Dark Arena, while their surviving teammates
suffered defeats of their own. Five losses and three deaths are enough to dampen
anyone's spirits. I do hope their manager finds a little sunshine before the next
turn. And speaking of unpleasant attention, Of Wolf and Man was the most avoided team,
with the Manx Corps doing the most avoiding. Poor Sheading CPT attracted more
challenges than anyone else, only to suffer another defeat at Kili's hands. My dear,
perhaps a quiet afternoon with a good book would do you some good.
Now run along, tend to your wounds, and remember that winning a fight is a fine thing,
but having someone waiting to welcome you home is finer still. I will see you in two
weeks. In the meantime, keep warm by the fire, and may your enemies have the courtesy
to fall before they ruin your favorite boots.

Welcome back to Phantom Regiment! -- Tripwire
It is good to be back in our old haunt of Seam! The Regiment stands ready to bring
the chill of the grave back to the sands but it seems the postal workers are having
trouble delivering the spectral mail. Five days late we still have not seen our
results or any sign of the new recruit. There is a small chance our turn will get
there on time, but it seems doubtful. But if it doesn't, we do fully intend to be
