Notes from the arena champ.
If you grew up in a rural area, you've probably heard the old adage, "leaves of three,
let it be." This brief, descriptive warning is intended to keep you from touching or
brushing against the poison ivy plant. The reason for this warning? The oily sap on
the plant's leaves, called urushiol, often causes anB allergic reaction and rash, and
maybe much worse. If you didn't grow up near the woods, it may surprise you to learn
that poison ivy can grow in sidewalk cracks, vacant lots, and other nooks and crannies
and arenas throughout cities, beach towns, and suburbs. In fact, poison ivy can be
found in every U.S. state, except Alaska and Hawaii. So, in addition to memorizing
that age-old rhyme, here's what you need to do -- AVOID ME!

SPY REPORT
Welcome back, Lapurians, today we honor RED MANE of CARDOW HUNTERS, another veteran
warrior from Jorja and her 22nd Lord Protector out of Lapur. Jorja continues her
farewell tour by not always replacing warriors, she is now down to one warrior. Will
we have another long running Duelmaster at the top? Let's find out.
Down to 11 teams in the ranks, with 2 inactive, which gave us 18 fights. One fight by
night, four challenge fights and 13 matchups. We had 2 deaths, the WHEREWOLVES
sacrificed a little pig and they lost their impressive top warrior MILDEW in a match
with ZAGRID. We salute your sacrifice.
Well we have a rare occurrence this week thanks to what looks like a plan set forth by
the Bloke... Our reigning Champion POISON IVY of AVOID ME! challenged and lost to
outgoing Lord Protector RED MANE, which leaves the title up for grabs to the highest
recognition warrior at the end of the day. So the Bloke had CANCER of AVOID ME!
challenge Purple Sage's WAGON DRIVER 3 of BLACK KELTS and with CANCER demolishing
WAGON DRIVER 3 in 2 minutes he is now the Duelmaster. All Hail CANCER!
Team news is not nearly as exciting. Visionist and his MID EARTH crew put forth a 4-1-
1 result to take over the top spot. Moving from 3rd to 2nd is the Bloke and his AVOID
ME! after a weak 1-2-0. Rounding out the top 3 is BUFFALO TRAACE '25, who decided to
take the week off. The Team on the Move is Master Beru and his ARMY of DARKNESS, who
gained 50 points. The Most Avoided goes to the Bloke and his AVOID ME bunch, who
managed 6 avoids. Two other guilds managed 4 avoids.
For my fight of the week, I could not decide between two new warrior fights, so they
are both my "Fight of the Week".
HOKIE of WHEREWOLVES fought FRESHMAN VELVET of NEON VELVET, where the wolven warrior
viciously subdued Neon's velour in 2 minutes.
TASALINDA of NEON VELVET fought POPPY POPPINS of BLACK KELTS, with Neon's mysterious
warrior beating Purple Sage's bubbly warrior in 2 minutes. Well done to all 4 of you.
Well, I'm pretty much through. Oh wait, 2 more invitees to the Isle: POISON IVY of
AVOID ME! and LOTS OF KNOTS of ALMOST EXACTLY. Next time we honor them both. And with
