Vir to give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. He who
laughs last didn't get the joke. Speaking of laughing at jokes, observe DARK
MECHANICUM. Last week they got 0-4-0 to drop by 6! What's a move up by 7 you ask?
(alright, maybe you didn't ask) Cause for celebration, according to THE ILLEARTH.
Good things come to those who fight well, as THUNDERBIRDS can attest, moving up by 5.
XXX BANDITS had cause to celebrate, after WART HOG got 27 points by beating
ROCINANTE. A certain someone should cut down on the drinking and practice more,
after losing 21 points to INDYGO BLACKROSE. (Discrete enough, ROBBER?) Duelmaster
VOICE ROCK from XXX BANDITS is going for the gold, as he challenged CRUEL NIGHTS'
MAIDEN FIONA. Ooh, the excitement! Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were
disappointed by MAIDEN FIONA, of CRUEL NIGHTS, who despite a 22-13-0 couldn't
overcome NIYTYOLE ISLAND's Number 1. Word has it one team in NIYTYOLE ISLAND is
taking speech lessons to try to bore their opponent to death. I'll bet it works.
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! Perhaps the warriors of BIG LAKE
BANDITS should take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... As a woman
of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of THUNDERBIRDS, so did that sorry team shy
from BIG LAKE BANDITS If challenges were horses, MAIDEN FIONA could open up a fast
food joint! As a confidence booster, THE THUNDERSTRIKE challenged NECROMANCER, down
30 points. Do you also slay vicious rodents in your spare time, THE THUNDERSTRIKE?
Warriors of NIYTYOLE ISLAND! Do you wish your reputations tainted by the base
challenge of THE THUNDERSTRIKE? Them's the breaks, GUACAMOLE LADY. Expecting fair
challenges from BIG LAKE BANDITS is evidently too much to ask. KIKI VILLYN defeated
GUACAMOLE LADY with a point difference of 24. So this is what NIYTYOLE ISLAND calls
a duel. This will make an interesting tale. Take heed NIYTYOLE ISLAND, of the
unprincipled action of QUEEN PATIENCE. By challenging WHACK-A-MOLE ELF, 22 points
below her, QUEEN PATIENCE besmirches the noble art of dueling. QUEEN PATIENCE
overcame WHACK-A-MOLE ELF. The whole thing leaves a bitter memory.
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! BLACK ORC in
the Dark Arena wasn't enough for BARBRO of EMU'S BROOD. Maybe that certain serving
girl(?) at The Don't Drop Inn will be! Congratulations, FRIAR TAWK. The manager of
EMU'S BROOD should have sent ALMA to the Dark Arena for having a 7-4-0 long ago.
Alas, poor THE MOTHERLOAD. We all know BIG LAKE BANDITS' retirement plan isn't the
best in the world. DEN'S SWEATER, may you be as missed when your time comes. BLACK
of FEAR OF THE DARK spared CIRCE (6-7-2) from having to lose any more fights. What's
your next plan, THE DEMONIC PICKLES? The audience gave a nice round of rasberries to
ROCINANTE of CARESS OF STEEL, for expiring in such an ungraceful fashion. 17-30-0,
indeed! More than one waitress at The Don't Drop Inn was spilling more drinks than
usual last week, as MYK LAQUOAR's early demise became known. What will BIG LAKE
