SPY REPORT
Another turn has come and gone on this miserable rock, and somehow the Commission
still expects me to chronicle it. I once commanded ships. Now I catalog people hitting
one another with sharpened metal. Civilization is a fragile thing.
Wyldfyre remains Duelmaster after making short work of Bloody Belle in the title
fight. Twenty-one wins, thirteen losses, and 138 recognition points now sit beside
Wyldfyre?s name, with graduation waiting after one more turn. Obsidian Hall also
earned the dubious distinction of being the most avoided team, courtesy of the Wasting
Field. Apparently, even they have limits to their appetite for suffering.
The Demonic Pickles climbed atop the team standings with a 10-4-1 record over the last
three turns, while Misfit Toy Makers posted the largest point gain of the cycle at 63.
The Illearth and Nye Maulers followed with gains of 38 apiece. Not bad work from
people whose chief occupation appears to be finding increasingly inventive ways to
acquire scars.
Joe Marvelous settled some outstanding business by bloodfeuding Catgut Scraper and
winning handily. That avenged Roundhouse Ronn?s death from last turn. Catgut also
earned the distinction of being the arena?s most challenged warrior. Popular fellow. I
have known tavern debtors with similar reputations.
Plenty of other challenges were worth mentioning. SomeCallMeTim upset Quillan Shade
after three minutes, Tannin Balm flattened Gravel Cradle in one, and Dillbert reached
sixteen points down the rankings to beat the Bilge Rat. Dilly attempted something
similar against Vyrgyl Unmighty and discovered that ambition occasionally comes with
bruises attached. Vyrgyl won the bloody three-minute affair.
The Dark Arena collected two more souls. No No and Allen Harper both marched willingly
before the Black Orc and lasted roughly long enough to regret the decision. Somewhere,
Ahringol?s accountants are updating the books.
Papirtiger, meanwhile, crushed Queen Patience and promptly departed for the Advanced
Arenas. Congratulations on escaping Niytyole. I assure you, some of us notice.
Wyldfyre should follow after the next turn. Porto Chubb was both the arena?s overall
popularity leader and this turn?s favorite. Apparently losing thirty times has made
the old hobbit relatable.
And that concludes Turn 1050. The Commission will now presumably lock my door again,
Sheila Greywand will continue pretending this arrangement constitutes mercy, and all
of you will return next turn to stab one another for recognition points. Yay.

PERSONAL ADS
Darkfart -- You are literally two turns away from over 1,000 losses, how pathetic! I
pretty much understand why you don't have any real friends. -- Den
Presstoe -- The arena rejoices with the fact that you are not here. Whatever pathetic
shelter has allowed you in, remain there, or face the consequences. Freak. -- Den
Bashturd -- I remember a time when you were something. Never something cool or
amazing, but certainly something. It seems Crambus is going to out kill you once
again. It is almost like he is outsmarting you, which is something I never thought I
would submit. -- Den
Crambus -- Kill! -- Den
Chad -- Hmmm....I actually liked Ash, he had potential. But, I guess we won't know
now. However; as is in our charter, the bloodfeud must be placed. Well struck. --
Den
Crambus -- Catgut scraper must not survive these bloodfeuds, he is garbage and must be
treated as such. Make him pay like a drunk at closing time. -- Den
Studcraft -- Are you going to let Crambus get away with that kill? Perhaps your wife
said it was okay and now you have to leave it alone? If you ever get your man-card
back again, please reach out to us. -- Den
Siren's Song -- It is like your "song" is becoming a "wail" instead of something
melodic and beautiful. Not unexpected, nobody here likes you, so I don't expect
anything from you. Maybe just fold up shop, pay your debts, pull your flea-market had
down tight and walk quickly away from us. Loser. -- Den
Philthy -- I guess Chad has decided to let Air and Mien live, so maybe you can kill
that tourney piece of crap? -- Den
Work Revolutions -- It's doubtful that you have any understanding of Niytyole or our
laws and expectations. So, as a public service, I will smarten you up. We are going
to kill you piece of crap and enjoy doing it. Also, it is doubtful that you will ever
experience the joy of a woman. -- Den
Old Hobbits -- I love people suffering, which is why I love the fact that you lost
another of your sad little hobbits. I guess old hobbits don't matter after all. --
