Notes from the arena champ.
I guess I am on display for being a two-time Duelmaster. I can dig it. Kokomo was a
two-timer (plus), and I am a two-timer; hmmmmm. Makes me wonder if there are ever
others? (Seems to be saying "Diamond Lingo -- get with it!")
But so many of you want to know who/what I am. OK; I get it.
Makes for a simple column -- data driven. Here goes:

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
RODEKI brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Now keep the taverns open late
tonight, for there are sorrows to drown for GRECIAN FORMULA, whose 0-1-0 this turn
dropped them by 4 into 9th. Ha! DELVERS turned their 1-1-0 turn into a 5th place
rank in the listings this turn. Any better than this, and you get put on hit lists.
Gee, I'm impressed, a 3-1-0 is nice, but don't get cocky, BETTER BLUES, the Fates
teach humility, and the Fates are proud. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to
see THE URINATOR win a fight and gain 29 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, HIGH CHEESE
beat PAPER CUT and PAPER CUT lost 13 points. You're breakin' my heart. Going for
broke or broken, our Duelmaster DEAD RED challenged this turn. And if variety is the
spice of life, RODEKI may be getting bland, as PICKENS stays top dog in the city.
I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you this? You want to know
what's new, don't you, RODEKI?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. DIAMOND
LINGO, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team. Care
to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was MI CASA. Ha ha ha ha! LADDER was
challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM insulted or
feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. And now a passing thought on a warrior
dying young (BIG BUDDY DOYLE of BETTER BLUES): You had your chance and now you're
dead. Oh well... Let's see, 8-5-1. Pretty good record for a living warrior. A sad
one though, for a dead one. Such is the case for BIG STICK of DIAMOND LINGO. Tsk.
You can run, THE URINATOR, but maybe you can't hide from DIAMOND LINGO. Killing BIG
STICK is something the rest of WELLSVILLE may not be able to help you with. A big
yahoo goes out to ZORA YOUNG this turn, for revenging BETTER BLUES' bloodfeud against
DIAMOND LINGO's warrior EEPHUS. Heh, heh, heh. We're all going to die in the end,
so why worry if the fate catches up with you sooner that later?
