Notes from the arena champ.
Hah, one sly cat reporting, here, from the throne. Yep, the throne. Swirvin
Irvin checking in as Duelmaster. Get that?!
Forty-nine; count 'em. 49! That's how many fights in the making it took for me
to make Top Cat. The big ole gray tabby done swirved his way to a 14-16-1 arena
record on top of a 7-12-1 tournament record with only a parry rating, 17 learned
skills, an 0,57 skill learn rate, and lotsa stat bumps (Four in one area.). Not bad
for an aimed-blow, eh?
Can I make it out of here? Can I learn enough of the right skills? Can I live
that long? Dunno, dunno, dunno.
Next time, if there is one, we'll discuss best cat foods, or poetry, or sumpin',
but it won't be gladiatin'. Nope.

SPY REPORT
Welcome ARDIVENT. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights
have I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... What's with LEROY? He
actually beat BLUVALLEY WARRIORS' JOUBERT KLEE, and walked away with 17 more points
from the fight. Laughs were big at FANDILS while they watched CLARA ROSE clobber
ARLENE ROSS. She lost 11 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands.
CORBIN ROSS was reminded on the sands why IRVIN is Duelmaster. I suppose you want to
hear some rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow fighters? Tough!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. How well I know the feeling
of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of practive, AZURE CLOUDS! The
bums at YOU DON'T SAY! couldn't face the challenges from AZURE CLOUDS! No excuse for
that! How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged warrior, ARLENE ROSS!
Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you. Fighting is a better craft
than farming, TRIA SKATHACH, but you have to pay your dues. Being challenged by
MMMMBUHHH, 30 points above you, is dues. I have to get this off my chest. What a
low dog, MMMMBUHHH! It can't set itself up in a real match. I was sorry to see TRIA
SKATHACH lose.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? How long have I been here? I got people to see, places to
go...
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here?
ARDIVENT is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. I don't
