                                      SPY REPORT

So why do I have this bag over my head? Because I am The Unknown Spymaster and
I'm going to give you a spy report!. Hey everybody, watch out for HEREFORD JONES,
who flew up 21 points in the rankings after mashing NIMZOVICH like a melon. Keep
your eye on this guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands.
NIMZOVICH was defeated by HEREFORD JONES and drops 18 points. Our battling
duelmaster JANIS JOBLIN has managed to hold the title, fending off TAL's none too
subtle advances. Better luck next time, WE GOT GAME. Advice to bashers--never force
anything, just get a bigger halberd!
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!
And hey, kiddies, those of you who didn't avoid THE 27 CLUB, please raise you hand.
Wow. Does ARDIVENT really have that many liars? Okay, so I may not be funny, but
catch FANDILS' act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to be fairly deft at running
from THE 27 CLUB. And who is this HEREFORD JONES you ask, with 60 points and a
8-14-0 record. Ooh, the tales I could tell!
Being a spy is great--other people die and you spend the rest of the day
drinking to their memory. Better tanked than dead! Well, the arena is no place for
slow learners (and hopefully T.P.s) and BLIND OWL demonstrated that very violently on
FINGERS BROOKE's body. Here's some advice: warriors with little wit and will may
encounter problems on the trail to the Isle.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ARDIVENT have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some
tracks. See ya next time I'm on this circuit!-- The Unknown Spymaster

Uncle Leroy socked it and Casper John blinded it for a 2-0. Just sayin.... -- Fandil

Health. Humility. Honor. The Red Sands await us all. -- WOF

Fandil the Wise -- I must say I am curious to know what I may have done to invoke
this provocation. Ususally I do not divulge information about any of my warriors.
However, since it is you, Fandil, whom I have the utmost respect for, all you had to
do was ask and I would have told you what you wish to know. I'm a reasonable man.
Deathscar is not here to prep. He is here to compete, train and graduate hopefully

to the Isle where I may further his promising career. He does posess more experiance
than he may show initially... I ask you to not be so quick to judge... it is very
peaceful here in Ardivent. Let's not rock the boat to much my friend. -- Hollowshade

To Uncle Leroy -- You may notice I did not challenge you in our recent altercation.
Mere luck of the draw taht did not go your way this time. It was a very well fought
battle my friend. I salute you. -- Deathscar

Inquisitor -- Then you should do it more often, eh? -- Billy Joe

One-four again, and this time, it was that klutz of a Klu who won. And they said the
age of miracles was over! -- Fingers Brooke

                        WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!

Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 16-18, 2015. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $149.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--code RSI.

Please make your reservations now if you plan to go. This is prime season for
Phoenix, and this year will be crazy: the Superbowl, Phoenix Open, auto auction, PF
Chang's Marathon, and more are all during that time. The hotel will be filling up
quickly and I won't be able to add rooms to the block after they are full. So please
book your room now -- if you can't make it you can cancel your reservation, but we
hope you do!

Look for the tournament info sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope
you're all looking forward to it and that we will see you there!
