SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly AMEN-TEI games. Warriors--remember that glory waits
always around the corner! Witness how this week CHAOS KIDS went 2-3-0 to move up 3
in the rankings. Did only my eyes note the 4-1-0 record which OLD WOMEN managed to
post this round? I don't doubt that such a record will draw challengers! WEEZY
caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested
MYRRDHIN and was awarded 21 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable
duels, NOBLE ASSASSIN put down KALACHAKRA, causing him to lose 29 points of
recognition in the process. As is fitting, the most sought after warrior on the
challenge boards this week was none other than Duelmaster TRASH itself. This time
out SYLVIA made hers bid for the throne as she challenged TRASH in an all out contest
of skill for possession of the title! This time victory fell to the grasp of the
usurper. All hail SYLVIA, Duelmaster of AMEN-TEI! Would you believe that over half
of the old women in AMEN-TEI seem to feel that they could fight better than you
gladiators?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In AMEN-TEI "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! AMEN-TEI, city of gladiators! Mighty among the
names of thy guilds is SAFE HAVEN, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly
duels. Apparently the stalwarts of ULFHEDNAR are catching the bulk of jests down at
the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. A match that raised a few
eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that CRICKETS posted a challenge against
the more highly recognized SCYLLA. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand
CRICKETS won victory over SCYLLA. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of
steel.
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears
arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in AMEN-TEI. Nice atmosphere you have here! Ahh, but I can hear the spires
of a far off city calling to me. I must away! Till next we meet remember: a fool
