The Brick Wall had a long, involved column that it wanted me to transcribe, but
this weekend has been exhausting, and I'm just not up for it. Sorry. Maybe next

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
MORDANT brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see HAYDAN win a fight and gain 10 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, TIEN-SHU
OF GENRAI beat BOTTLE OF BEER and BOTTLE OF BEER lost 11 points. You're breakin' my
heart. And if variety is the spice of life, MORDANT may be getting bland, as BRICK
WALL stays top dog in the city. Conan's Place, humph! I've tasted better ale at
mortuaries. Where do they get this stuff? From MORDANT's trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess
what brave team is developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the MORDANT arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of MORDANT. I feel much better now. Paste this one in

All -- I have decided to enter Mordant full time from here on out, barring unforeseen
circumstances. For nearly 20 years I have been playing mostly in slow arenas and
have decided that I need a home arena in a faster environment. This will be the

I wish to protest the actions of M. Chardinee. His behavior was unacceptable.
First, he kept hitting different locations, so that I couldn't properly protect
myself. Then, when I hit him back, he reeled in shock and RECOVERED, going on to
RETURN MY BLOWS! And finally, after MOST unreasonably winning, he didn't teach me a
SINGLE SKILL! I demand that M. Chardinee be impeached. -- Haydan
