SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
NIANIA brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see BRUTUS win a fight and gain 19 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, BRUTUS
beat OOZE-O and OOZE-O lost 15 points. You're breakin' my heart. BILLY challenged
NIANIA's Duelmaster for a shot at the throne. And if variety is the spice of life,
NIANIA may be getting bland, as TOOFLESS stays top dog in the city. Kickbacks and
bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their
fights? Skill? Ha!
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
What's the big D? RESURRECTION was the most avoided team? Bunch of lily livered...
grumble... mumble... curse... And it looks like BIG COUNTRY avoided them the most
this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me. Hmph. ABALONEA was
challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM insulted or
feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. We're all going to die in the end, so why
worry if the fate catches up with you sooner that later?
I was about to buy a new quill pen the other day, but some fighter took it for
an epee. Forgive me for writing with a dagger. Well, I've had enough of this
drivel, and I'm sure you have too. Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather. Paste
this one in your scrapbooks, you'll need the kindling come this winter-- Snide

PERSONAL ADS
Analira -- You beat Betty and you scared her. Plus you scarred her pretty face. So
I had to defend her pride. I am the best on the team. Yeah that's it. Betty wants
a rematch. -- Sorry Junk
Xenoth Cly -- Sorry, buddy. You was my second choice. I hope I didn't hurt you too
bad. One more fight, I may get a rest. It depends on my manager. -- Brutus
Polarius -- Ouch, you really hurt me. I hope you taught me well. I did last four
minutes so I guess that is good. -- Lou Lou
Lubaya -- Are you okay? I love to fight. I was hoping to move on to ADM but that's
okay. I will keep on fighting for a while. -- Betty
P.S. Analira -- I want a rematch this time.
M. Chardinee -- I really enjoyed whupping your butt. I was mad and wasn't to fight.
My manager said no more fights 'til October. That's bullcrap if you ask me. So I'm
full of rage. -- Rage
Black/Red KLK -- Welcome to our small arena. Also welcome to the other newer teams
here. I am glad DM 2 is growing some. Now all we need is Jinx back. -- The Ice Man,
mgr. Big Country
Sultan -- Thanks for the offer. We met before in 72. My team is Ageless Wonder. It
is a little hard to do things in here. Thank you. -- The Ice Man
Betty -- Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't we done this before? More than once?
(sigh) Small arena syndrome strikes: there's nobody else to fight. I consider it a
fair trade, the win for you, the skills for me. -- Analira
P.S. The several days of bedrest (I wish!) is a bonus.
Jarck -- Do you find that you wish you had your own identity, or at least your own
name, rather than being a copy of some other warrior? Ah, well, maybe when you make
it to the Isle, you can take time off to "find yourself" as people say these days. --
Yellow Pike
Sorry Junk -- You learn well for a piece of "sorry junk." Hang in there! -- Lubaya
P.S. Golems of the world unite and get a life!
Somehow, it seems so ODD for the Kung-Fu Master to be an Orc. It doesn't seem like a
properly Orcish activity. Of course, he lost the fight, so maybe he's not really a
master. Maybe he's just a student. THAT could be more Orclike. Yeah, that must be
it, the real Master wasn't feeling up to it, he's quite elderly, you know, so he sent
his apprentice. Ah, good, I'm glad to have that worked out! -- Nellistha
Prowess -- You're an inspiration to us all! Women of the arenas unite and develop
your prows, and so on. -- Abalonea
17 July 2004
I am currently trying to put together a favorites chart for AD warriors. I
desperately need help with this. What I need are style, favorite rhythm (ex.:
hi/low), favorite weapons, and tactics. What would be great is if you could send me
a copy of the invite with the warrior's name, id#, and arena blacked out. This way,
I can verify that this is an actual warrior. Minis will work, too!
For those interested, I have both a challenge style vs. style and a match-up style
vs. style chart. There's about 250 fights calculated in these charts, and I'll be
happy to send a copy to anyone who asks. You can contact me (if you're a free world
player) at: Rick Stringer, Merit/East, SCI, P.O. Box 500, Georgetown, DE 19947-0500.
If you're in prison, just send a diplo to: Baphomet, Mgr. Knights Templar (568), DM
#47--North Fork. (I also have a lot of other charts and info for anyone who wants
it.) Thanks!
30 July 2004
The total number of fights calculated was reported as 250 fights. This is a
misprint. It should have read "over 2,500 fights." -- Baphomet

Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,

sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a

The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
If you haven't been to a Face-to-Face before, you're overdue. If you have,
you'll be back. Don't miss this one, it'll be a blast! See you there!
