Notes from the arena champ.
Obviously we can't have an Insurance Salesman for Duelmaster! You can't trust
those guys. They sell you HUGE insurances, ah, is that insurances for huge premiums?
Whatever. That lapse about two minutes before you need them, and even if they hadn't
lapsed, they turn out not to cover injuries sustained in the arena. I've been down
THAT road before. It was a pleasure to smack him around, and then... HIS insurance
had lapsed! Life can be sweet.

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of NIANIA! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE was
unseated this week as THE GOLDEN FISH moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot
with a 4-1-0 record for the round. BRANDY PINKERTON caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested GOLDINA and was awarded 18 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, BRANDY PINKERTON put down
GOLDINA, causing her to lose 15 points of recognition in the process. Although
KUNG-FU MASTER made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of
victorious GALLORDIN. Informants "close" to the city champion have told me that he
never fights without pantyhose on beneath his armor. Watch out!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. I saw one fighter that warriors
avoided when this week's challenge seeking began. THE GOLDEN FISH is feared. This
much I can say. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent
the better part of last week avoiding THE GOLDEN FISH. Indeed it was PEANUT BUTTER
FUDGE. Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. KESTRATLAK
take warning! You have more than a few enemies in NIANIA. A match that raised a few
eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that BUBBA BENDER posted a challenge
against the more highly recognized KESTRATLAK. The results, you ask? Well, the
firebrand BUBBA BENDER was bested by KESTRATLAK. Remember warriors, this is the
discipline of steel.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins. In the arena
there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
The girls are as pretty in NIANIA as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed
a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await me!
