Notes from the arena champ.
Admit it, guys and gals, you all like to challenge me 'cuz I teach so well.
Look out, though: last turn, Dune taught me an initiative skill. If I'm mode, one
more will earn me my second rating. Hot damn! My numbers to date are: 65 F.E., 84
P.P., 25 learned skills (none burned), and one rating (Ad Ex decise). And, because
Fungari asked so nice last turn, I'll challenge. What the heck, maybe there's an
advantage.

P.S. Simply Desserts -- I'm just good, I guess. But just in case, I'll avoid to
enhance my odds to get Fungari. 'Cuz why? Cuz asked. Try it sometime!
SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. OSKSI needs a spyreport." Oh, well. Too bad, ASTRAL KIN,
but THE BALROGS was just too good to be stopped. What was the name of that team who
got 4-1-0 this turn for a total 514-426-22 you ask? (Sure) THE BALROGS' their name,
and fighting's their game! MVP award for DREUBRA? THE BALROGS' proud of her after
beating MX and getting 27 points. Talk about yer big time losers! MX got smashed by
DREUBRA, and lost 16 points! SANDMAN thinks his 18-11-0 and studly character is good
enough to face up to the Duelmaster. Any bets? This Duelmaster is like something
else! OINGO BOINGO stopped SANDMAN dead in his tracks! Who was the wiseguy that
said OSKSI's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Elefont? Don't look at me!
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? The warriors of ASTRAL KIN must be getting lonely.
They were the most avoided team. Do you guys know something that I don't? I don't
know what THE BALROGS' been doing. They certainly haven't been accepting many fights
from ASTRAL KIN, that's fer sher. Like, is NUKEY HOUSER popular, or what? He was
challenged the most in all of OSKSI! He's got a 3-2-0, is that good? For sure, I
was holding my breath when I found out DEEANN RAKOVICH challenged SPLINTERED SKY.
After all, haven't AMERICAN APPRAISAL and ASTRAL KIN had a long standing duel in
OSKSI? It wasn't a spectacular fight, or anything, but SPLINTERED SKY wants me to
write about it since he overcame DEEANN RAKOVICH. Satisfied?
Man, all these warriors dying and killing each other! Don't you guys ever give
it a break? Like was that some Bloodfeud, or what? (QUICKSAND vs. SMEG MAGGOD, that
is.) What if they had a fight and nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's
what!!!
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really

started in Monuntial (DM 34) back in '92. They were active for seven months. I have
lost all early traces of them. If any of you can help with copies of relevant
newsletters or, if you fought one of my warriors, copies of the fights, I would
greatly appreciate it. I only have one of my original warriors left from the early

program is the most extensive management tool ever created. It was meant to run on a

A note to everyone regarding manager names and manager lists -- If you're running a
team incognito, all you have to do is let me know and I won't put your name on any
manager lists. It has seemed though, that more people want their names listed, even
if they do not announce themselves, than the other way around. Also, I do maintain
the list more or less by hand and errors do creep in. You have but to say I've made

ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF STORMCROWE SLAUGHTERHOUSE
The last Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse was one of the closest and most exciting
contests ever held in Alastari. Such an epic demands a sequel. Therefore, Master
Darque and Jack Wolfspider are pleased to announce the return of the Stormcrowe
Slaughterhouse.
Where? Stormcrowe DM 45 (slow). When? The Slaughterhouse returns on Turn 207,
due August 19. How can you get into the action? Bring a team (one per entrant
please) to arena 45 and announce your intention to join the contest in the Personals.
Rules: This time around the rules are very simple. Each warrior win against a
higher rated opponent (one or more points higher in the ratings) brings you 10
points, against even rated opponent 7 points, lower rated 5 points. Wins against
NPCs or by a warrior who downchallenges are worth 0 points. Points are doubled for
kills. All warriors in the arena whether participating in the Slaughterhouse or not
are fair game. Points are totaled weekly, and the contestant whose team has racked
up the most points at the end of 10 turns is declared Slaughterhouse Champion.
Prizes: To be announced; we're still talking with RSI about it. Figure it will
be something pretty good. But hey, who needs prizes when the honor of being
Slaughterhouse Champion awaits!
