SPY REPORT
So why do I have this bag over my head? Because I am The Unknown Spymaster and
I'm going to give you a spy report!. Say good-bye to AESIR, as they are pushed from
the coveted top team spot by the VEGGIES stable. Hey everybody, watch out for
WYBJORN, who flew up 24 points in the rankings after mashing THE GOALIE like a melon.
Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was TWITCH, who
dropped 4 points after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with BRUENOR. Well
here's a duelmaster that doesn't sit back and say 'Challenge me'! LEFTISTS BLOW made
a challenge against DEWEY this week. Well, everybody's pal LEFTISTS BLOW moved his
record to 16-2-2 by defeating DEWEY in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and gaining 13
recognition points. Advice to bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger
halberd!
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!
And hey, kiddies, those of you who didn't avoid THE NUKES, please raise you hand.
Wow. Does OSKSI really have that many liars? Okay, so I may not be funny, but catch
VEGGIES' act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to be fairly deft at running from THE
NUKES. Well dang howdy, but if challenges were votes, TWITCH would be president.
Although it may be a contest he doesn't want to win. In a touching display by a
'touched' warrior, SAGA went after FROSTY, who was higher by 25 points. Well, when
the dust settled, SAGA was subdued by FROSTY. SQUASH of VEGGIES had better have a
good reason for challenging down 9 points in a challenge which he won. I thought
SQUASH showed great skill and promise when he bested JOKER. All right, so I slept
through it! Big deal!
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). Knowing when to use the right tactics at
the proper time is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in OSKSI have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Okay, so I may not be the
world's best comedian, but then you guys aren't the world's best warriors. Hasta la

FACE-TO-FACE XXXIV
Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
If you haven't been to a Face-to-Face before, you're overdue. If you have,
