Notes from the arena champ.
So long Osksi. With Carrot's graduation, the Veggies stable will be going
inactive. An amazing run for a trio of bashers, even though they were highly
bonused. While Green Bean earned and deserved his record, Carrot and Squash were
just your everyday bashers. I very well might be back one day to graduate Squash,
but Carrot was the reason I came here. 12-10-8-15-17-15-7 B, +4 ATT, +3-4 DEF, -1
INI, Good Damage. Faves turned out to be what I'm used to seeing on bashers. MO/VL
MA, learns Parry. Carrot graduates with skills at: 20/10/25/17/8/23. So you see,
he is really nothing special. And Squash looks even worse. But they're bashers and
above average ones at that, so they touch my heart and I run them.
Carrot will be retired, without even getting his turn to try out the Dark Arena.
Sorry, but I'm not sure he can beat any of the DA monsters consistently, and by
closing this team, I can focus my resources elsewhere. Speaking of which, you'll
find me and my bashers in the following arenas now or in the near future, if you
really want to see us. 18 (my home), 42, 47, 51, 59, and 72. With my recent luck,
I'm a bit surprised that Carrot didn't die, but I guess sometimes, even I can get a
break or two.

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
OSKSI brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, AESIR, since GAMES LIBRARY
took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. If this keeps up, ARENA
FELINES, you'll have to shine swords instead of use them. A drop of 4 in the
rankings? Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see HODUR win a fight and gain
20 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, BLACK WIDOW beat PENCIL NECK and PENCIL NECK lost 10
points. You're breakin' my heart. Due to absence, and inability to defend the
throne, CARROT has lost the Title of Duelmaster. Start setting that alarm earlier!
And it's out with the old, in with the new, as NOT HOYLE takes the Title and last
week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. The Elefont, humph! I've tasted
better ale at mortuaries. Where do they get this stuff? From OSKSI's trash dumps?
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. OSKSI, I am losing what little hope I had in you.
AESIR the most avoided team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And it looks
like MISTRESS 4 XMAS avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would be
losers, if you ask me. Hmph. HEARTS was challenged more times this turn than the
Duelmaster. Now was the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. We're all going to die in the end, so why
worry if the fate catches up with you sooner that later?
There's got to be a better place in OSKSI to get a drink than The Elefont! Any
suggestions? Well, I've had enough of this drivel, and I'm sure you have too. Off

Several questions have been asked about Slaughter's Challenge that I'd like to
address and clarify.
1) All Prizes must be used on the contest team, this includes the resurrection.
Remember any fast arena team should be able to transfer to a slow arena
(except for arena 82, I believe).
2) Warriors will be allowed to fight and run in the dead tourney, should there
be one, and return if an opening can be made without breaking the rules
(i.e. only one DA fight allowed per team).
3) If you win your single DA match you do not get another. It's one use of the
Dark Arena win or lose so if you want him/her/it dead be sure and throw the
match!
4) The resurrection potion's longevity has been extended by the commission to 6
months but the other potions (favorites, and +1 bonus) must still be used
within 2 turns and on a 5 FE or higher warrior. The resurrection can go on
any warrior regardless of FE.
