TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Lord Abraxis rode into Osksi, looking for Bad Company's guildhouse. He was very
upset with the reputation that this band of miscreants had earned. Abraxis stroked
Free-Jay's head as he reflected upon the implications. He may not be universally
liked, but he had managed to earn the respect of most managers that he crossed paths
with. Now this band of drunks, traitors, dominant vices and reprobates was well on
the way to changing all that.
Their disrepute had traveled as far as Stormcrowe, where Abraxis chose to
reside. Last week at the "Twisted Orc" tavern he heard a song about Miss Misery and
of her devious machinations of her war flail. Apparently she had turned it into a
pleasure device, battering a myriad of partners with its stripes. This on top of
betrayal by Judas and the drunken indiscretions and fornication of Whiskey Drinking
Woman were more than he could bear. He had even received diplomatic notes from
rivals Icelord and Ultraist, chastising him for their behavior.
He found the guildhouse and it looks as pathetic as this hand of warriors had
become. A clapboard building, with three colors of paint, all peeling and whiskey
bottles littering the property. Six Gun Sound was outside whistling at any female
that passed and making suggestive gestures.
Abraxis kicked the small man right in the face, knocking him against the side of
the guildhouse. Abraxis spit in his face as he slammed the door open, entering the
ramshackle building. He immediately saw that the reports were wrong, for Miss Misery
was carving sigils in some poor louts chest, while it was Whiskey Drinking Woman
using the war flail. Judas though as reported, was in the corner counting his silver
and Bad Company himself watched it all with a look of glee on his face.
Free-Jay began to purr as Baphomet walked out of the back, with a look of shock
on his face as he saw Lord Abraxis.

Good day, in OSKSI a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets poor. So
bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news. It seems the training can make the
difference, as BAD COMPANY is pushed out of top team by GREEN WITH ENVY, who came
from 3rd with a 3-2-2 this turn. And let's see, RONAR SLEEN fought TAROBINZ MAUR and
gained 21 points and contributed to SORCERY COVENANT's 1-3-0. TAROBINZ MAUR has lost
to RONAR SLEEN, falling 17 points, while helping make GAMES LIBRARY a 1-4-0 turn.
And all eyes were on SOLDIER 2 this turn as he ascended to the throne of Duelmaster.
OSKSI has a new victor! Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard from unimpeachable
sources that The Elefont uses trolls in their stew. Talk about gristle!
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one. OUR HIGHEST HONOR has cause to stand
tall, as they were OSKSI's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team
to beat. And guess who avoided OUR HIGHEST HONOR stable the most? Believe it or
not, it was GREEN WITH ENVY. Anyone surprised? Well, sports fans, take notice that
KRONIC BLAZE from GREEN WITH ENVY was OSKSI's most challenged warrior this turn. In
a fit of brilliance or of stupidity (hard to say sometimes), SPAGHETTI challenged
KRONIC BLAZE today, facing a 36 difference in recognition. But when the dust
settled, SPAGHETTI had lost to KRONIC BLAZE, and PASTA left SPAGHETTI doing chores
when they went to the tavern. Better luck next time.
We only live a short time in this world, so why not take a sharp blade, and
shave it close? Banners at half mast, warriors, PASTA has lost SPAGHETTI, and you
might say all of OSKSI has felt the loss, except maybe GREEN WITH ENVY. Seriously
now, is it really honorable for KRONIC BLAZE from GREEN WITH ENVY to kill SPAGHETTI
and give PASTA the chance to bloodfeud? Mmmm, could be. Is it really true that
OSKSI has more dishwashers per capita that fighters? Just thought I'd ask...
Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the
sweetest. Always good to rest in OSKSI, but never good to wear out my welcome. Look

Any and all who live in the 805 area, I would like for you to call me so we can get
together for BBQ's, softball games, and so on. It has been a while since the last
get together (several years). It was a blast and I am sure the next one will be
also. We just have to do it. All alliances are welcome. Just because my warriors

SUMMER FACE-TO-FACE IN MINNEAPOLIS!
Our summer FTF will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 18-20, 2008. It will be
held at the Holiday Inn Select Minneapolis/St. Paul in Blomington, MN, just down the
street from the Mall of America, at 3 Appletree Square (952-854-9000). Rooms are only
$105.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy. There is a free 24-hour shuttle from the airport
and free shuttle service to the mall; free parking, free high-speed wireless internet
in all guestrooms. There is a large fitness center, jacuzzi, and indoor pool. The
rooms are blocked--ask for the "Reality Simulations" room block. There are tons of
restaurants nearby at the Mall, as well as a cafe in the hotel.
