I doubt JHELUM will ever be the same. The F BALLS guild has had a 3-1-0 turn and
deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this kind of thing can
lead. And let's see, EPIMONIDAS fought GIMLET and gained 18 points and contributed
to DOGS OF WAR's 2-3-0. JIMMY CUSTER has lost to BORE-O-ME, falling 9 points, while
helping make DOGS OF WAR a 2-3-0 turn. This week's Duelmaster bout was between
SHEWISH GIANT and our Duelmaster ALL LICKERED UP, making a Dark Arena Challenge. The
attempts to dethrone the Duelmaster have failed, and ALL LICKERED UP remains JHELUM's
top warrior for another turn. Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard from
unimpeachable sources that The Warty Toad uses trolls in their stew. Talk about
gristle!
Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.'
Inscrutable, but true. I also notice that the DOGS OF WAR stable was the most
avoided team this turn. Come on JHELUM, what are you afraid of? And guess who
avoided DOGS OF WAR stable the most? Believe it or not, it was F BALLS. Anyone
surprised? The most challenged warrior this turn was F BALLS' warrior FORK BALL.
More fighters challenged him than challenged the Duelmaster!
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. ALL LICKERED UP must have surprised
ARENA FELINES this turn, after they sent him to the Dark Arena, but the Dark Arena
couldn't hold him! A brave warrior does not carry a red shield, he has nothing to
cover or hide when the fight is over. Consider well.
Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the
sweetest. Always good to rest in JHELUM, but never good to wear out my welcome.

The Olympics have arrived!
The Mordanti Olympics, having been gone for six years, have returned to the Mordanti
Alliance, sponsored by Amicitia Primoris. Teams have competed against each other for
recognition and notoriety four times in the past. It is far past time for the fifth
Mordanti Olympics to be held. The Mordanti Olympics shall be held in the Mordant
arena (DM-1) from May 1st (T544) through Oct 30 (T557). There will be a
'registration period' lasting until T543, where teams will be allowed to register by
activating in Mordant and declaring their participation in the personals. Rules will
be posted in the Mordant arena (DM-1) newsletter no later than T543, but shall be
available online before then. An announcement will be made as to where they will be
posted. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
