You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to JHELUM once again! THE SHALLOWSHIP's hatred of BLADES OF MIST
surfaced again as SCANDALF challenged JHELUM's top dog. I'm sure JHELUM is excited
about SCANDALF, the new Duelmaster from THE SHALLOWSHIP. (remember?) But when
you've seen as many as I have... Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to
practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
BLADES OF MIST. The bums at F BALLS couldn't face the challenges from BLADES OF
MIST! No excuse for that! What do people see in SWAYTHE? Hers 7-7-0? BLADES OF
MIST ain't talkin', but she's got 86 points. LEGALASS expects the easy win by going
19 points down. SWAYTHE will find this a hard lesson! LEGALASS left the match
looking worse than when he went in, after SWAYTHE, with a 6-7-0, walked all over him.
FUZZ BALL of F BALLS knows how to pick 'em. He challenged HANNIBAL of DOGS OF WAR
who is up by 18. Now was this a wise move? FUZZ BALL perhaps got his just desserts,
seeing as he won victory over HANNIBAL and ended up with 33 recognition points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Some people in JHELUM think F BALLS was too harsh when they
sent FLY BALL (5-2-0) to the Dark Arena. Them's the breaks, I say. Many a warrior
has met his fate in a hungover stupor. You young rapscallions, take note!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
JHELUM is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. I don't

All -- I've seen what's on the forum. So I'm prey, am I, Max. You and all your
devious buddies will become my prey, even those I thought okay. I don't have to

The 2006 Mordanti Alliance Olympics are off to a grand start! With seventeen teams
declared, running under eight different flags (not to mention six additional non-
Olympic teams present), it is looking to be as tough as any previous Olympiad, if not
more! Olympians petitioned the Commission to make an allowance for late entries, and
the Commission agreed, and will allow new entrants to partake, as long as they are
active by Round 3 (T546, due May 29th). So if you wish to enter, please email your
intentions to amicitia@gwi.net with team name, manager name, and affiliation
(alliance name or independent), or show up in Mordant (DM-1) on, or before, May 29th
and place your declarations in the newsletter!
