SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of JHELUM! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team F BALLS was unseated this
week as REDLEGS moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a 4-1-0 record
for the round. MORGAN caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he
skillfully bested PERSISTENT BEGGAR and was awarded 15 points in recognition. In one
of the week's more notable duels, FLY BALL put down DUNN, causing him to lose 11
points of recognition in the process. Although PETE MASTIFF made a valiant effort,
it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious FUZZ BALL. Heed this! A seer
has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish!
Just remember...5 or 7!
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city JHELUM. JHELUM, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names of thy
guilds is F BALLS, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly duels.
Apparently the stalwarts of WESTSIDE BULLOCKS are catching the bulk of jests down at
the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty fighters cannot
but expect competition from those below. NOD take warning! You have more than a few
enemies in JHELUM. For some warriors honor is not important--only empty victory.
See, gladiators, how TINIETON of WESTSIDE BULLOCKS challenged down 22 points to
JOSEPH. The weight of the challenge fell hard upon JOSEPH and predictably he was
defeated by TINIETON. This is how to arouse the anger of an entire guild! I can not
but mention with disdain the name of SOD who this week posted a challenge to a
warrior a full 12 points below in the rankings. I thought SOD showed great skill and
promise when he was defeated by CONCEPCION. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Dark alleys may hide both secrets and
assassins. In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
The girls are as pretty in JHELUM as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far
