SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly JHELUM games. Former top team REDLEGS was unseated
this week as DOGS OF WAR moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a 4-1-0
record for the round. Did only my eyes note the 4-1-0 record which DOGS OF WAR
managed to post this round? I don't doubt that such a record will draw challengers!
GRIFFEY caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested
EMBEZZLING SCRIBE and was awarded 20 points in recognition. In one of the week's
more notable duels, MORGAN put down ANDY, causing him to lose 4 points of recognition
in the process. Not for nothing has FOOS BALL in the past laid claim to the
Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Heed
this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city
shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. My inside sources tell me that the
team to beat in JHELUM these days is BABY BROTHERS. At least, most blades in town
are looking to avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard
pressed to find any of F BALLS last week. Busy avoiding BABY BROTHERS? Mighty
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. LEONIDAS take warning! You
have more than a few enemies in JHELUM.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. My condolences to F BALLS for their loss
of a very promising warrior, FLY BALL. FLY BALL went to doom before the arms of
DUNN, a warrior of REDLEGS. The warrior's path is harsh. For mediocrity there is
but one reward--death. This past week CROOK, at 6-10-0, departed JHELUM forever. My
hearty congratulations DUNN, for thy revenge upon FLY BALL, slayer of thy fallen
comrade. Next time he will know better, eh? Dark alleys may hide both secrets and
assassins. In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
The girls are as pretty in JHELUM as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
