SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to KALTOS once again! Hmmmph! I always thought DENMARK was an
over-rated team and they proved it with a 0-0-0! Up 'n down. Up 'n down. Rankings
always change. Up 'n down. I think I'm gonna be... Well, PARTY ANIMALS' 2nd moved
them up to 3-2-0 place. It seems so recently people were saying JOHNS was washed up,
finished. But 3-1-0 moved them up 2. I guess they're washed no more... What's with
THE IMPECCABLE PIG? He actually beat JOHNS' HOFFA, and walked away with 21 more
points from the fight. Laughs were big at JOHNS while they watched FLYNN clobber
BULL DURHAM. He lost 15 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands.
MOUSE DAVIS was reminded on the sands why JOHN TYLER is Duelmaster. Wouldn't it be
nice to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses
of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. How well I know the feeling
of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of practive, I'M HISTORY!
Management must be dealin', as the boys at PARTY ANIMALS ain't reelin'! I'M
HISTORY's mad! What do people see in HOFFA? His 8-73-0? JOHNS ain't talkin', but
he's got 97 points. ERLOI GILL didn't quite know what to make of a challenge he
received from SAMANTHA FOX of PARTY ANIMALS, who is 22 points below him. SAMANTHA
FOX perhaps got hers just desserts, seeing as she overcame ERLOI GILL and ended up
with 54 recognition points.
Warriors of KALTOS unite. You have only your games to lose! Is it my
imagination, or are fighters getting younger every day? To die so young, so
gloriously!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? All
work and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter. Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.
Olaffighterwork and no play. Time for my medication, so I'll leave now. Practice,
practice, practice!-- Olaf Modeen

Sonny -- Oh, getting uppity, aren't you, kid? Well, there's an answer for that! And
I'll think of it sooner or later. -- Ferghan Hohl
Ghost of Burning Man -- I hadn't realized that simply casting a bucket of water onto
you would be so...final. -- Norle Parth
P.S. Damned if I know why I hit you in all those critical locations. I wasn't
AIMING at them.
Hoffa -- What a wimp! -- Erloi Gill
Abraham Lincoln -- (nodding gloomy satisfaction) I've got it worked out now. You've
got a beard, so they assume you're a dwarf--anyone with a beard is a dwarf to the
Commission, even if they're seven feet tall. And then they figured, if you're a
dwarf, you should be short. So they made you short. And then you went and shaved
off your beard, so they decided you might not be a dwarf after all, BUT they left you
short. It all makes a twisted sort of sense. -- Ingold Kerr
Wilov Vaugn -- Flagg's Fist? He's only got one? What happened to his other hand?
Did the Lady in Black cut it off? -- Chester Egg

Is there anybody in the DM game who is incarcerated that has had to litigate in order
to continue playing? Or anyone in the free world who may be able to help me with
case law or legal advice? The Administration has already taken "D&D type games" from
us once (though I recently had that decision overturned). I believe it's only a
matter of time before they try it again and I am prepared to file a lawsuit if need
be. I enjoy DM and any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated! I

Ladies and gents...get your teams together and join in on the hottest and fiercest
contest ever to grace the arena sands! Intrigue, personal wars, you name it...we got
it going on! What is this contest? It's the Turf War IV in DM 47, North Fork!!
This fantastic contest was begun by my alliance mate Asmo Dius, and I've picked up
some of the slack. Contest starts on Turn 225 (approx. date June 9th?). It's an
"alliance-type contest", so grab your folks and bring them in for a bang up time.
Rules will be printed in the DM 47 newsletter at least until the contest starts. --
