Notes from the arena champ.
Hail, mighty managers of Transel! It was, of course, inevitable that I would become
Duelmaster. Now to see how long I can hold it. Not an easy chore. Second Omen,
that was a fast and furious fight, and though I won, it was not how I thought I'd
win. Now I can either challenge you again or go for Pandora. Haven't made up my
mind yet. You are fast and deadly. But Pandora, despite her record, has a ton of
experience and might be a tough nut to crack. Hmmm...I notice many a fine warrior
advancing up the ranks. Satan Claus, Bloody Easter Bunny, Homoculous all have the
records to make a manager pause. Good fighting and see you all upon the sands!

SPY REPORT
Hail TRANSEL! Warriors of the arena, prepare to be praised and blamed for your
deeds. Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to drown for
NIGHT TRAIN, whose 0-4-0 this turn dropped them by 6 into 13th. HOLIDAY HORRORS
stable has parlayed this turn's 2-0-0 into a 3 space move up the rankings. This
brings them up to 2nd place. Good work, guys! On their very first turn, ICU had a
5-0-0, and with this kind of luck or skill, should do well. Welcome to TRANSEL. And
let's see, TUCKS fought CHRISTINA BILLOTTE and gained 20 points and contributed to
KREWE OF DRUID's 2-3-1. MACSEN has lost to THIRD OMEN, falling 16 points, while
helping make IRON BROTHERS a 2-3-0 turn. Due to his absence and inability to defend
the throne, BLUE FALCON has lost the title of Duelmaster. We should ask SECOND OMEN
about the thrill of victory, and what being the new Duelmaster does for a warrior,
he's now the one to ask. By the way, was that our Duelmaster that I saw last night,
cramped under the table at The Sultan's Tent?
The crowd's roar, the smell of iron and leather, mixed with sweat, what more
could a warrior ask of life? Well, besides that. DARK PANTHEON has cause to stand
tall, as they were TRANSEL's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team
to beat. And avoiding DARK PANTHEON more than any other team we find HOLIDAY
HORRORS. TRANSEL, are we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? The most
challenged warrior this turn was KREWE OF DRUID's warrior PANDORA. More fighters
challenged her than challenged the Duelmaster! SATAN CLAUS of HOLIDAY HORRORS had
better have a good reason for challenging down 13 points in a TV challenge which he
won. I thought SATAN CLAUS showed great skill and promise when he beat TURTLEHEAD.
All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. The manager of DARK PREDECESSORS
will not be pleased to learn that CHRISTINA BILLOTTE, a 4-0-0 fighter, has been
killed at the hands of KREWE OF DRUID's TUCKS. We'd like to remind certain teams not
to rob the graves of their enemies. You know who you are; and it's considered rude.
Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the

Arena Gods (or maybe the Unknown Spyreporter can answer this) -- Is there something
amiss in Alastari these days? I see that a MASK lost to EMILY THE STRANGE, leaving
MASK with 15 points (for a loss) at 0-1-0 and Emily (with the win) at 1-2-0 with 7
points. Huh? And uhm...I see that TEMPUS got 55 (fifty-five??) points on his 1-0-0
record for beating THE FORSAKEN, who ended up with 4 points on the loss. Again, HUH?
It makes MYSTRA's 1-0-0 record with 39 points for beating NATASHA IVANOVA (and
leaving her with 1 point on a 0-1-0) seem almost like an insult. Now, I've been
playing off and on for about...oh...13 years, and I ain't never seen nothin' like
this. Bright Pantheon ends up with a WHOPPING 129 points on its opening 4-1-0 turn?

head-scratchingly spectacular debut here (with 129 points!?!?!?). Sorry, but I just
had to ask the Spyreporter about it. I am quite certain that is the largest ever
point gain in the history of Alastari (especially given the fact that it came on an
inaugural turn that didn't include an upset for the Duelmaster's spot). Maybe that
Grey Witch on the Isle is fooling around with the space-time continuum again, or
maybe you guys paid someone off at the commission. Either way, welcome. Looking

As a Captain of the Vendetta Cartel, Hammer has recently dissolved the Vendetta
Cartel Crimson Ascension Family. Lady Martilyo and Rook are NO LONGER members of the
Vendetta Cartel.
The Vendetta Cartel is divided into "Families" under the leadership of Captains;
who have been appointed by the VC God Father known throughout the dueling land as
Master Darque.
Hammer is now the Captain of the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe and the veteran
manager extends an invitation for prospective membership as a Probate [ONLY 2 Probate
positions are available in the VC Tarantula Tribe at the present time!] to any Newbie
Manager who qualifies under the following conditions:
1. Newbie Manager MUST have Online Access for Email communications! [Hammer is
presently living in Qatar and Lieutenants Maximillian and Firehawk are living in
Canada; so Email Communication is a MUST for consideration!]
2. Newbie Manager MUST have the time and funds to create 2 new stables to be
placed in 2 separate Slow Arenas [the cost of running 1 stable in a Regular Arena!]
to actively participate on a monthly basis with the other 3 T-Tribe members of the
