Oh, hi. Its just little 'ol Debby Tonte. Thought I'd check out TRANSEL to see
what's new. I don't wanna hurt anybody's feelings or anything, but KREWE OF DRUID
really goofed with their 0-0-0. The guys at NIGHT ANGELS like really pulled together
to get a 1-3-0 this turn, moving up by 3. MVP award for IV DRIP? ICU's proud of him
after beating BEATRICE and getting 17 points. Talk about yer major upsets!
BEATRICE's match with IV DRIP cost her a loss of 14 points! Like, SATAN CLAUS must
be pretty gutsy! He TV challenged the Duelmaster from BATTLE BEASTS. Does this guy
have a death wish or what! Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I think
BLUE FALCON should let SATAN CLAUS be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting about
it. I hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine hours sleep. They want
photogenic fighters for PR photos.
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? YFEL STEORRA was the most avoided team. Is a 3-10-0
record really that scary? I don't know what ICU's been doing. They certainly
haven't been accepting many fights from YFEL STEORRA, that's fer sher. Like, is
SATAN CLAUS popular, or what? He was challenged the most in all of TRANSEL! He's
got a 9-1-0, is that good? For sure, I was holding my breath when I found out
RAZORWING challenged IRON LUNG. After all, haven't NIGHT ANGELS and ICU had a long
standing duel in TRANSEL? It wasn't a spectacular fight, or anything, but IRON LUNG
wants me to write about it since he killed RAZORWING. Satisfied?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All TRANSEL ever talks about is fighting!
Me, I'm more laid back. AIAS TELAMONIOS bloodfeuded (is that a word?) SOLACE EX
UNGOL for revenge over some guy's bad fortune. Was it really worth it? What if they
had a fight and nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I gotta leave. TRANSEL is like such a dump, and you guys smell too much! Its

Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
