Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in BONSUR this turn, and let's start
with a look at some of the teams. It seems the training can make the difference, as
BEACH BABES is pushed out of top team by WASTELAND II, who came from 5th with a 3-1-0
this turn. Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to drown
for BEACH BABES, whose 0-5-0 this turn dropped them by 4 into 5th. WASTELAND II
stable has parlayed this turn's 3-1-0 into a 4 space move up the rankings. This
brings them up to 1st place. Good work, guys! The SUGAR AND SPICE guild has had a
3-1-2 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this kind
of thing can lead. And let's see, ARSENAL fought TERRI TOWEL and gained 28 points
and contributed to BLADES OF ICE's 2-2-1. BENDER has lost to GOKU, falling 7 points,
while helping make BLADES OF ICE a 2-2-1 turn. This week's Duelmaster bout was
between BLACK ORC and our Duelmaster GINGER, making a Dark Arena Challenge. The
attempts to dethrone the Duelmaster have failed, and GINGER remains BONSUR's top
warrior for another turn. Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard from
unimpeachable sources that The Dripping Blade uses trolls in their stew. Talk about
gristle!
I tell you, a green quarterstaff lasts longer than a seasoned sapling. A basher
friend of mine assures me this is true. IMPORTED FOOTBALLERS has cause to stand
tall, as they were BONSUR's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team
to beat. And guess who avoided IMPORTED FOOTBALLERS stable the most? Believe it or
not, it was FLOWER CHILDREN. Anyone surprised? Well, sports fans, take notice that
TERRI TOWEL from BEACH BABES was BONSUR's most challenged warrior this turn.

Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
If you haven't been to a Face-to-Face before, you're overdue. If you have,
