You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to BONSUR once again! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your
elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! BLADES OF ICE is now ranked 5th
with a 2-1-0 turn. What's with VEGAS, BABY!? It actually beat BEACH BABES' SANDY
SHORE, and walked away with 18 more points from the fight. Major screwup at BEACH
BABES. SANDY SHORE lost 10 points to VEGAS, BABY!. Some new strategies, perhaps?
Maybe SANDY SHORE will provide more easy wins... What a role model for BONSUR's
young 'uns! DIKEMBE MUTUMBO becomes Duelmaster, but don't bother to fight no more!
I'm sure BONSUR is excited about UMBRELLA MAN, the new Duelmaster from BEACH BABES.
(remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have... I suppose you want to hear
some rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was BLADES OF ICE. Management must be dealin', as the boys at HATE
ain't reelin'! BLADES OF ICE's mad! What do people see in UMBRELLA MAN? His
17-46-0? BEACH BABES ain't talkin', but he's got 100 points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover stupor. You
young rapscallions, take note!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? Are
you as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm writing it
before you read it. Oh, well. Remember--a good fighter needs both good skills and

All -- I've seen what's on the forum. So I'm prey, am I, Max. You and all your

The 2006 Mordanti Alliance Olympics are off to a grand start! With seventeen teams
declared, running under eight different flags (not to mention six additional non-
Olympic teams present), it is looking to be as tough as any previous Olympiad, if not
more! Olympians petitioned the Commission to make an allowance for late entries, and
the Commission agreed, and will allow new entrants to partake, as long as they are
active by Round 3 (T546, due May 29th). So if you wish to enter, please email your
intentions to amicitia@gwi.net with team name, manager name, and affiliation
(alliance name or independent), or show up in Mordant (DM-1) on, or before, May 29th
and place your declarations in the newsletter!
