Notes from the arena champ.
Oh, Candy Cane, you little sweet thing, where did you go? I knew I wanted to lick
you and take the title, but it would have been much more fun had you actually been
present! But a throne it is, all the same, and I'll take it! Took it, actually, as
I am now in possession of it.
There isn't a lot to speak of at the moment, just time to celebrate with the local
ladies. And of such things, a gentleman does not speak. He just acts!
So lets break out some smash and celebrate this title!

I can't believe the violence in BONSUR! I still haven't told Mom I'm writing
Spyreports. She'd have a cow! Well, here we go... One team deserves special
mention 'cause they moved up 0 after going 3-0-0. Keep it up, CHURCH LADIES! MVP
award for JUMPIN JEHOSAPHAT? AMEN!'s proud of him after beating LITTLE VENUS and
getting 20 points. Talk about yer major upsets! SISTER SINISTER's match with
SALTILLA cost her a loss of 11 points! Oh, wow, like the Duelmaster must be the most
popular guy in all BONSUR. He got the most challenges. (But what about proposals?)
Like, CANDY CANE must be pretty gutsy! She challenged the Duelmaster from SENTINELS.
Does this gal have a death wish or what! Was that a tear I saw in CANDY CANE's eye,
as she took over Duelmastership? And wasn't BALDASSARE fit to be tied! Who was the
wiseguy that said BONSUR's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Swinging Aardvark?
Don't look at me!
I gotta admit I haven't been in "deep con caves" with any spies. Really, I just
wing this stuff. SENTINELS was the most avoided team. Is a 354-234-20 record really
that scary? I don't know what CHURCH LADIES' been doing. They certainly haven't
been accepting many fights from SENTINELS, that's fer sher.
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. PALMETTA PATTY bloodfeuded (is that a
word?) BLUEBURN for revenge over some guy's bad fortune. Was it really worth it?
Fight, fight, fight. Is that all you guys can do?
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it quits. Its been

There has been a run lately of personals and columns turning up in the wrong
arenas. When you email in something, check and make sure you have the correct
arena number! It's easy for a finger to slip onto the wrong key. When the
receipt comes back, check again to be sure it went where you intended!
