Well, that was amusing. The Kung-Fu Master took offense at our comments last
time, and here he is again, B. C. Li, Master of Kung-Fu, intending to "show me how
it's done." As if he knows!
Little Venus
SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of BONSUR! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Not for nothing has LITTLE VENUS in the
past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week she's proven hers combat
skill yet again. Would you believe that over half of the old women in BONSUR seem to
feel that they could fight better than you gladiators?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city BONSUR. BONSUR, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names of thy
guilds is SENTINELS, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly duels. If you
didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of SERPENTS
HOLD last week. Busy avoiding SENTINELS? Mighty fighters cannot but expect
competition from those below. WHIPLASH take warning! You have more than a few
enemies in BONSUR. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the games this week, it
seems that SCRAMBLER posted a challenge against the more highly recognized SARAH
SUNDANCE. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand SCRAMBLER bested SARAH
SUNDANCE. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel. I can not but mention
with disdain the name of HARPOON who this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full
12 points below in the rankings. I thought HARPOON showed great skill and promise
when he subdued REAPER. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears
arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in BONSUR. Nice atmosphere you have here! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till
